If you like Scott Walker, you’ll love Rick Perry
MSNBC ^ | John Bailey and Domenico Montanaro

A group called State Tea Party Express paid for the ad below, which has been running on FOX, linking Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) and Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R), who's running for president. Walker was embroiled in a budget controversy over state-workers’ collective-bargaining rights -- and saw a standoff in which all of the state’s Democratic senators fled Wisconsin.

What’s the point of the ad? They want us to envision Walker as we pull the lever for Perry? Perry can’t stand on his own any more?

The STPX website specifically states that they are not endorsed by any candidate or candidate committee, so I’m pretty positive we already know the answer as to whether or not they sought permission from Walker. Please ping me if you hear from Walker’s campaign team. I’m curious as to how they are going to react to this.

I see you’ve asked the mods to remove your original comment on this thread... Are you backtracking now? Is it no longer the “Perry Walker Way”??? Why did you ask for your comment to be removed? If you did, that is.

You mean the Tea Party Expess is not in the business of telling states who should get in state tuition?

Oh, you must have left off the part where they are demanding a fence across the border?

Actually, Rick Perry passes the grade on the goals of why the Tea Party Express was set up.

So does Scott Walker. Both are great governors.

I didn’t ask the mods to remove anything.

It was a picture of Rick Perry and a picture of Scott Walker and a link to the YouTube video.

I guess that was “offensive” to some FReepers and had to be removed.

He HAS flip flopped:

1. When confronted by a voter in New Hampshire, he admitted he was wrong in the HPV law and didn't do his research thoroughly enough. If true, why no rescind the law entirely and offering it like the flu shot?

2. In 2009, during a debate with KBH, he called border fences 'silly', and just 6 weeks ago, he suddenly became a fan of 'strategic border fencing'.

3. He publicly railed against AZ's illegal's law, then quietly supported it in an AG letter of support to AZ.

Strategic border fencing is a euphemism for no fences, putting him in league with Dubya, Slick, Bam and LaRaza.

I’m sorry... Did I ever call you names? Have I called Perry names? I don’t recall ever doing so. Disagreeing with you is a little different than dismissing all of your ideas and calling you a “snot”.

I didn't realize Scott Walker was semi-literate. Whenever I have heard Walker speak, he talked in complete sentences and was coherent.

How do you know that Walker did not agree to this ad? Perry was President of the Republican Governors Association until he started a campaign.

The HPV Law was NEVER passed and no doses ever given. Therefore it is a non-issue. He has always said that fences would be a benefit in urban areas, but silly in rural areas. Please state the correct statements. He did NOT rail against AZ law. It never made it out of committee, consequently there was not bill to even be voted on. He stated it was not right for TX. He did support AZ law. This is a states right issue. I am from TX and know exactly what he said and did, because it was in numerous media outlets. So he has NOT flip flopped on anything.

Border fencing in urban areas, it makes no sense in rural areas. Ranchers don’t want their livestock blocked from the water. The border is 1200 miles long. If you are from TX, then you should know this. If you are not, become better informed.

Symantics. And if you had done your research, you would have known that after Perry's 'won't work in Texas' line to the media about AZs law, he did indeed support his AGs actions.

As for border fences, yeah, who cares about the rural areas, because there's no way illegals would go there to cross. They probably wouldn't dig tunnels, either.

As for the HPV law, if it was never passed, why do girls still have to op out?

Perry is a flip flopper,. period. And an incoherent one, too.
