ND Tea Party Official “Pretty Convinced” Palin Will Enter Presidential Race.
The Plains Daily ^ | September 13, 2011 | Logan Little

FARGO, ND - All signs point to “yes” for a Sarah Palin Presidential run in 2012, according to North Dakota’s Concerned Women for America State Director Janne Mrydal.

Appearing on the Scott Hennen Show earlier today, Myrdal weighed in one of the most intriguing political questions surrounding the GOP debate and its current crop of candidates… will former Alaska governor Sarah Palin throw her hat in the ring as a future Presidential hopeful?

“I’m pretty convinced. The way she’s talking, in Iowa, in New Hampshire…I just can’t see she’s doing what she’s doing unless she’s getting in” Mrydal said.

Myrdal was in attendance yesterday for the Tea Party Republican Presidential candidate debate.

Where did you get the idea that Romney voters are Palin voters? That’s crazy. Romney is ‘the’ polar opposite of Palin.

I appreciate it. Would be nice to send a show of support/encouragement. Nice if the media could announce a big money bomb! Plus, Sarah is prudent and effective with our money. Good investment in our future!

Palin will have more appeal to moderates than you might imagine. She sure did in Alaska. In governing, she focuses on constitutional issues, not social issues.

“Why would I want to be President when Fox will pay me $1,000,000.00?

Why would I want to be governor when Fox will pay me $1,000,000.00?”

Because Sarah’s motivation isn’t money, it’s service to her (our) Nation. As a FOX commentator she has a platform to talk from on a semi reqular basis.

Evidently YOUR motivation is money. Probably why you are an ardent Perry.....read crony capitalist...... supporter.

No wonder you do not support Sarah!

I agree completely that she will have moderate support. But the ‘moderates’ who would vote Romney lean Dem and would do so because he’s practically a Dem in his policies. Those who would vote Palin are not. Romney avoided the Constitution often while governing. That’s why his supporters like him. Again, the polar opposite of Palin.

If she was interested in the money, why would she be taking a broadaxe to the Big Money Elites on cronyism?

“Geeze, this tease campaign will never end as long as there is a hardcore audience for it.”

Tease???? Sarah has said that she will announce in Sept. (though Oct would not be too late) It is not a tease to set a reasonable timeline and follow it. In fact, given the outside pressures, it is commendable.....imagine a pol that keeps his(her) word and does what he/she said he/she would.

If Sarah had been constantly moving the goal posts of her announcement then a meme such as yours would be justified. As it is you appear to be nothing more than a shrill hack for the Perry campaign. As such, your opinion is not worth the electronic paper it is written on.

"If she was going to run...she would have been the first to enter."

That would not have been a smart move. Glad Sarah doesn't think like you do or ask you for advise.

Did Sarah REALLY say that the end of Sept would be her deadline?

I know that many of us (including myself) have said that Sarah will announce by the end of Sept. Yes she said that to Hannity, did she say it to anybody else? I thought I heard her say Oct once?

Now at one point she did say a serious candidate would have to get in by Aug or Sept at the latest...I heard her say that with my own ears...but then other times I have heard her mention legal dead lines, meaning could be later.

Now I for one am supporting her to the end, I believe she will run, but if for some reason she decides not to run, I am with the guy that said, I am tuning out and just enjoying my retirement.

Anything short of Sarah Palin will just be just to disappointing. I will enjoy the out doors, give up listening to talk radio, give up watching Hannity and Gretta, and Yes I listen to all sides, Wolf Blitzer and the MSNBC gang. I used to say I listen to MSNBC and CNN to see what the enemy is saying, sadly I include Fox News in that lot as well now.

As I was saying if she does not run, it will be Classic movies on TCM, Jimmy Stewart etc,am giving up politics completely if Sarah does not run.

And before anybody says it, yes would most certainly hold nose and vote for the Rep nominee, unless they turned out to NOT be pro life, in that case it would not matter if I voted or not.

Would consider 3rd party (I said consider, so keep your shorts on)

I am with Sarah if she waits until Nov 2012, but I think past the end of Sept, the fickle crowd will jump off the bandwagon, I really do... I will not ever!

Remember the guy that said he was burning his travel tickets in the barbecue for Sarah`s Iowa speech after reading a WSJ blog that said she was canceling?

Even with talk radio, internet (used to be able to say and Fox News, but no longer) The MSM still controls the manufactured manipulated polls, and basically the news of the day for millions upon millions of Americans, so the next time someone says to you the American people are very smart....do NOT believe it.

Just my opinion...hope she announces before end of Sept, I think past that date the fickle supporters abandon ship...NOT I, NEVER!!!

Now if she was to announce on the 17th Constitution day as many have hoped, I am hoping also, would mean she would perhaps be in the Fox debate on the 22nd? I am sure Fox would try to sabotage her, Bret Baer who refuses to address her as Gov Palin, at least he did numerous time prior and during and post debate at last Fox debate.

I am very confident Sarah will be rock solid at the debates! She already gave us a preview by scolding other candidates to learn how to pivot from dumb moderator questions to the most serious issue, the National debt, so Sarah is ready to just not answer the dumb questions and talk over the moderator, she will be great

” If she was going to run...she would have been the first to enter. “

You should send her a resume with your qualifications for campaign manager.

And yet Gov. Palin has clearly stated her intentions.

Even Hillbuzz can find it.

Based on filing requirement deadlines as I understand them, Governor Palin technically has until November 11th at 5pm to announce her campaign for the presidency (this being the latest she could submit her paperwork and the $35,000 filing fee for the South Carolina primary, which is the earliest filing deadline of any of the caucuses or primaries that will determine the ultimate Republican nominee).

The Governor, however, has promised to let her supporters know her intentions definitively by the end of September.

http://hillbuzz.org/2011/09/06/question-do-you-know-if- governor-palin-is-going-to-be-in-michigan-in-the-next-few-weeks-specifically-september-17th/>

Or how about here...

Palin has said she is considering entering the race for the 2012 GOP nomination, already under way in Iowa, which holds the first nominating caucus, and other early-voting states. She has said she expects to make a decision by the end of September, and is not expected to disclose her plans during her speech Saturday at a tea party rally in a town south of Des Moines.

http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=45953>

Apparently there are some that are getting impatient. Whether you are supporting or throwing rocks will not change anything. Gov. Palin said "by the end of September."

On a "predictive" note, Gov. Palin indicated she is attending the World Knowledge Forum, which runs from Oct. 11 to 13 and is expected to discuss US leadership in the midst of global economic turmoil. Other speakers include former British prime minister Gordon Brown and Larry Summers, ex-director of President Barack Obama’s National Economic Council.

Given that an announcement of active candidacy prior to that would cause quite a stir and a reasonable expectation would be numerous public appearances around the U.S. the "end of September" time-frame settles in quite nicely.

The decision to run is hers but I would think attending the World Knowledge Forum as a candidate would present an outstanding opportunity to contrast herself against Larry Summers, ex-director of President Barack Obama’s National Economic Council.

Then BuckeyeTexan clued me in on David Brody / Gov. Palin and a direct question on the time-frame.

David Brody: Is that short order by the end of September? October?

Palin: I think that that is a fair time line for people, because Fall time, they can start getting engaged with different campaigns, but still thinking about it, and really, really desiring to be a participant in the positive change that needs to happen in this country.

http://blogs.cbn.com/thebrodyfile/archive/2011/08/12/sarah-palin-and-the-brody-file-one-on-one-at-iowa-state.aspx

Of course, direct quotes from interviews with Gov. Palin will not deter the folks that want to obfuscate a clear choice for real reform of the fed gov.

I just don't understand why folks will promote winning with a very questionable candidate vs. winning with a proven reformer. No one seemed to have a problem understanding what little bammy and the donks did with ObammyCare when THEY had the upper hand with majorities in both Houses and the Presidency.

The donks are so weak now unnamed generic "republican" candidates are besting little bammy. In such a winning environment why would one not want to win with a candidate that has a documented record of addressing the glaring problem... we need to clean house on BOTH sides of the isle.

So...

September - October.

.

Hey thanks for the very good read. So it sounds like you are open to the possibility she might not let us know until Oct?

At any rate like I said I am in no matter what, no matter how long she waits! I just believe possibly she loses some of the band wagon jumpers here, if she puts it off past Sept...I AM IN UNTIL THE FINISH!

Sending her 20.12 cents to Sarah pac today.

Hey if she was to jump in in early October, that`s great, I think she loses a bit of steam though, but what do I know...NOTHING!

I still believe in spite of the internet talk radio etc, MSM and their joint stable of pollsters with the Rep est still control the news for millions of Americans, so that is my worry.

Thanks :)

Norm, you misunderstand my point. Romney wants Palin to get in, because she will siphon votes from Perry. A conservative split between Perry and Palin could hand Romney the nomination.
