A week later we are still remembering all the great patriotic Iowans we met at the state fair. We are also still trying to work off that delicious fried butter on a stick and red velvet funnel cake. I will be coming up in the morning. I live in Il so will becoming over 92 from the east. Looks like you will be south and west. I have no idea what will be at the venue where we could meet at a specific time.
I'll be coming from the west on the same highway. I'll be at the Ahquabi State Park. Look for the camper that has a TEA party flag and a very friendly yellow Lab under it.

Sarah Palin is a quitter and we don’t need to be selecting quitters to lead and execute the long, bard battle to unseat Obama. She may, after all, quit in the middle of the battle.

I’m sitting here trying to think the very same thing. Sadly, I’m still drawing blanks. I don’t know of anyone nearby or on the way and flying into Des Moines would be expensive and then what?

Nothing seems able to stop her, none of us, including you, have ever seen someone, anyone, stand toe to toe with the national media and even her own party, and keep beating them like this.

One more thing. I don’t want to hear her shrill voice everyday on the news. It drives me nuts. I hope she stays on the Discovery channel, a channel I rarely watch.
