Conservative blogger Breitbart sees Sarah Palin jumping into White House race
CBS News ^ | June 29, 2011 | Bonney Kapp

Conservative muckraker Andrew Breitbart said he believes former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin will throw her hat in the ring for the Republican nomination for president.

"My guess is yes," Breitbart said when asked by CBS News Tuesday if he thought Palin would run.

Breitbart, who is featured prominently in the newly released movie on Palin's political rise, "The Undefeated," attended the film's world premiere in Pella, Iowa, where he was greeted by Palin with a hug.

While he explicitly said he was not endorsing Palin, he did describe himself as a "defender" of the polarizing politician.

"She represents something defiant and fearless and righteous and decent," he explained, and said the two hour pro-Palin movie "represents vindication" from her detractors.

But it's not just vindication from the so-called mainstream media. Breitbart called out "establishment Republicans," accusing them of sitting on the sidelines, "watching [Palin] be devoured because they don't want to see her succeed."

Sorry troll.

All we have to do is win the primary against Mitt Romney, and recent polls have Governor Palin doing just that, just as they have for almost three years.

That is a good point, and easily proved by visiting his many sites.

You see, thats the problem with you Sarah bots. It is impossible to have a conversation about Sarah and her real capabilities. Instead, you resort to name calling.

I will continue to come on Sarah threads and tell you dopes the truth. She will win. Not now, not ever.

People hate her more than you can imagine.

I am not saying its right, I am just telling the truth.

It is impossible to have a conversation about Sarah and her real capabilities. She will [sic] win. Not now, not ever.

That's you're opinion. And it sounds like one cannot have a conversation, with you disagreeing with it.

Um, I think you have got a problem. Do you not know the difference between will and won't? What were you trying to say and who would be the dope for not knowing the difference?

I understand your perception that “people hate her more than you can imagine.” That’s very true in VT (where I assume you live), throughout New England and the media centers in NY/DC/LA. Have you gone beyond those areas, i.e., the rust belt, to ascertain your conclusion?

I might come to the same conclusion as yours, but I recognize that my perception might be anecdotal and colored by where I live (near DC).

Well, it’s going to be a choice between Sarah and a rigid Marxist failure, and the American people will have to decide if they want the catastrophe to contiue, or elect someone who loves freedom. I’m betting on the latter. She is clearly the best candidate that we have had the privilege to select in decades. We in the GOP must give America that chance to select a REAL leader and person of courage and integrity, Sarah Palin.

Here’s what I don’t get...

We see a poll showing Obama’s “disapprove” at 52%, and we jump up and down that he’s going to lose next fall...yet, when we see (multiple) polls showing Palin’s “disapprove” at the same or a worse number (some show it as high as 65%), we pretend it doesn’t matter.

Why?

Polls that reflect badly on Palin = fraudulent polling.

Polls that reflect well on Palin = accurate polling.

Why?

Because Bambi now has a record that he can't hide from during a campaign. When that comes out his "disapprove" will be much worse.

Palin, if she runs, will also have a record that will come out in the campaign. People will reject the fake they know from 2008 and check her out. Once they do that, he's toast.

Are you a Bachmann bot, a Mitt bot, who do you think will do better and why?

Sir, below is the definition of “polarizing” which a lot of trolls, liberals and fence sitters and lame stream media types love to accuse Sarah of being. Uh, have you been on Mars or Pluto the past few years? This country already is “divided into two opposing groups”! Basically, those two groups are the left, and all that they espouse and the right, who is nauseated by the left. Sarah Palin did not “CAUSE” that! It was here a long time before she arrived on the scene.

So?! YOU ARE WRONG!! JUST PLAIN WRONG!.............when you say Sarah IS “polarizing”. Please find another argument! Most of your fellow freepers are not warm and fuzzy about this one!

“to cause to divide into two opposing groups, ...”

..................................................

Wow, you’ve been to the future and back! Do people still wear Crocks in the future?

You’ll just have to let the voters decide if she runs. It’s silly that you hope she won’t run, let everyone run and let the chips fall where they may, it’s still a free country for the most part.

Well things are really volatile right now in this country and passions are high. We all have a candidate or candidates we think will do what needs to be done. I like Palin and I think she is a good Patriotic American. I think she is very polarizing and I worry that she will not get the independents. I also personally just think from my observations that she is probably not going to run. So for now I’m looking at the candidates who are really running. Bachmann and Cain subscribe to my positions on the issues. That is just me.

GG, at least you’re honest about your views on the race, and I can see that you’re devoid of any sort of irrational dislike of any particular candidate.

I appreciate your viewpoint, and certainly grant you the right to that. It’s all that any of us can ask.

I just hope that as things develop in the race, that you’ll come to see what many of us Palin supporters see in her.

Thanks.

Well in the end BHO has got to go. That is my new slogan. So whoever gets the GOP nomination gets my vote.

Just sit it out, Sarah.

You betcha! NOT.

You can’t beat Obama. Instead, endorse someone who can and who shares your values...

Truer words have never been spoken. Except for all other words which have ever been spoken.

(Cain, Bachmann, or, in a pinch, maybe Perry)

Good idea! With Sarah at the top of the ticket, any of the three you mentioned above would make a fine Vice Presidential running mate...

I hope she runs. I love that you don’t even want her to run and can’t control it. She is not one to be controlled or held back and that’s what makes her special.
