Sarah Palin Despises Newt Gingrich (If they're trying to make me like her more, it's working!)

There are a lot of interesting tidbits to be found in the tell-all penned by Frank Bailey, an aide to Sarah Palin while she was governor of Alaska, which draws on Bailey's firsthand experiences and Palin's own e-mails. Much of it confirms what we already know about Palin namely, that she's obsessed with her portrayal in the media, with gossip about her family, and with slights from her enemies. But of all the book's revelations, one that might actually be relevant/entertaining going forward, if Palin runs for president, is the nasty e-mail she wrote about Newt Gingrich.
Here's what Palin sent to her "team" after her scheduled appearance speaking about Gingrich at a fund-raising event was canceled:
Yes, (Newt/GOP) are egotistical, narrow minded machine goons
but all the more reason God protected me from getting up on stage in front of 5000 political and media elites to praise him, then it be shown across the nation. Palin wrote in the e-mail.
At some point Newt would have shown his true colors anyway and we would have been devastated having known wed earlier prostituted ourselves up in front of the country introducing him and acting like that good ol rich white guy is the savior of the party, she continued.
Yeesh. Can't wait for the next time those two try to pretend to like each other. Also, Good ol' rich white guy? In private, Sarah Palin kind of sounds like Markos Moulitsas.

Re-engage the intellect, please. Palin’s description of Santorum seems, to most, to imply that he’s paleo-conservative, a political caveman, a far-right winger. Yet you see Santorum as a lying leftist expletive, a Steele-ish, moderate near-traitor. Can’t be both? Is Sarah wrong? Is Sarah such a lib-lover that the man you portray as a leftist still looks like a hyper-conservative caveman to her? Or did you get it wrong?
El confuso.

God is sovereign. Jesus said that two sparrows can’t fall to the ground with His knowing it; and that the very hairs of our heads are numbered.

So, where’s the downside in that? He was my Congressman and I wouldn’t give him the time of a day. He’s an unethical, immoral cad. Whatever foresight and vision he had at being a Whip to forge Republicans into a winning force in 1992 was lost by the urge in his pants to violate vows he made to his wife, his constituency and to this country. He’s lower than the low. I discount everything he says.

Palin’s description of Santrum was in response to him insinuating that she didn't attend CPAC because she has “all those children” and could make more money elsewhere.
Nothing in her comments insinuated he was a far right winger, unless you associate conservatism with the “barefoot and pregnant” contingent.
Do you?

Ok... here it is... both michael steele and santorum subbed for Bill Bennett's Morning in America radio show... this was after obama won and steele was actively running for rnc chair. Both said, “The era of Reagan is over. The party must move more in the direction of the electorate. We must offer a bigger tent... we must embrace more diversity”. steele agreed and stated that, “America has become a more liberal country and we must change to stay in step with the people”... santorum agreed. There were many more days and different subjects where both men shown their true liberal leanings... but this example I give to you is enough to make any Conservative turn his back on those that believe this crap. I was argued with about steele when I brought this up two years ago... I was right about him then and I am right about santorum now. Ask Sarah what she meant... she is not part of the point that I was making... santorum is a liar and hides who and what he truly is... he stood with snarlin’ arlen... he is by definition... a freaking dim who lies about being a conservative... and he is bad medicine.

I would have given some attention to this had she said she dispises John McCain.
Her union with McCain is going to bring her down if she tries to run for president.
To: Lazamataz
Jeez. Here we have crucially important events in Wisconsin as regards the future of the Union Communist Movement in America; the Middle East is exploding with radical Islamics sure to ascend to power there; and the nation and states are nearly bankrupt, completely — and people are posting stuff about Sarah Palin dissing Newt

There is a difference between being liberal and being unwise about how to achieve conservative goals. I’d say Santorum is better described by the latter unless you can point out a few issues that he is a liberal on.

I strongly doubt her negative feelings about Newt center on Global Warming. Her history on this isn’t all that glowing either.
It must be Newts shakey morals.

I just did... making our tent bigger... meaning liberals, gays... illegals... and he said that we must have comprehensive immigration reform... we must not cede the hispanic vote to the dims... and even someone as stupid and as backwoods as I am knows what that means. He said all of these things on Morning in America... and saying the "Era of Reagan is over" is quite enough for any true Conservative. Like I said... he is bad medicine... and with me... that point is not debatable.

Except for illegal immigration reform, those points show him to be foolish, not liberal. I think foolish conservative is a better description than lying pos liberal. By the way, unless he has changed, it’s hard to imagine him being very friendly towards homosexuals.

"acting like that good ol rich white guy is the savior of the party"
There is NO WAY Sarah Palin wrote that. She doesn't think like that.
She doesn't? It seems to me that that would be in line with the "Mama Grizzlies vs. Good 'Ol Boys" narrative she used during her endorsements throughout last years' primaries.
