As the country celebrates Presidents Day, Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman (R) is at odds with a majority of Americans who have said Sarah Palin is not qualified to run the country.
A CNN poll in late 2009 found 70 percent saying shes not qualified, 28 percent said she is.
In an exclusive on camera interview (see video below) with Nebraska Watchdog, Heineman said Palin has the resume and credentials necessary to be the leader of the free world.
Palin and several other Republicans have said they are looking at the race but so far no one is officially running.
In 2008 Heineman backed former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, who eventually lost the GOP nomination to John McCain. Asked if hed support Romney again in 2012, Heineman said its too soon to tell.

Would this be the same 70 percent that said Barack Obama WAS qualified to be president, despite the fact that his resume is thinner than Sarah Palin’s?

His resume is thinner than most interns and apprentices. Even compared to Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton or Warren G. Harding he’s a cipher. There must have been something in the water back in 2008.

Barack Obama has set the bar so low, the qualification argument should never be an issue again.

For Barry, the bar was placed well below the tectonic plate subduction zone.

She’s over 35, a natural born citizen, and has lived in the U.S. for the past 14 years. Those are the only requirements needed.

If you listen to the Gov of NE answer it is really good. He says one she was a gov so that puts her above most people. Two in America if you can win the nomination and election you are by definition qualified to be POTUS because you convinced enough of the USA that you were qualified....which is a strict sens eis correct. It goes to the unelectable argument also. If you win you are electable.
Palin’s resume is 20 years of great service to AK and to the country. I don't think the seven idiots what to put their resumes up next to hers.
