2012: Sarah Palin for president, Oliver North for VP. Would you vote for this ticket?

Posted on 11/13/2010 11:02:11 AM PST by endthelies

What chance do you think this would have of becoming the Republican ticket? Would you vote for it?

I’m no political great thinker by any means but that idea sounds like a stupid gimmick to me.

So, what do you think of HRC’s “End The Lies” campaign pushing perverted behavior on the US military and smearing decent conservatives who oppose the homosexual agenda? I think rump rangers belong with ballet troupes not with combat troops . What do you think?

No. I won’t vote for Palin, although I think she is doing a great job at what she is doing now.

Did you ever read what Ronald Reagan had to say about Oliver North in the Readers Digest? http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/reagan-denounces-oliver-north-for-false-statements-attack-could-crucially-affect-contest-for-senate-seat-1429835.html

You might want to go back and check...the only thing North was “””Convicted of””” was tossed out on first appeal.
Liddy went to jail because he would not finger NIXON as the head of the breakin..

No.

Pence/Rubio, or Pence/West

See the current issue of Hillsdale College's "Imprimis," which carries a copy of Mike Pence's recent speech on the presidency and the Constitution.

Whoever leads America after 2012, if he or she is to help rekindle the light of liberty for future generations, must have an deep understanding of the essential ideas underlying our Declaration of Independence and Constitution, combined with the ability articulate them, and the courage to be willing to sacrifice life, liberty and sacred honor in order to defend them.

Enough of the popularity contest and actor-on-a-stage kind of politics in place now. What America needs are statesmen and stateswomen in the mold of the signers of her Declaration of Independence and Constitution.

Nothing else will be able to reach the hearts and minds of patriots and reveal the shallow counterfeit nature of the so-called "intellects" of the progressive movement.

If it were possible for him to have a run in 2012, Allen West's understanding of constitutional principle and debate abilities would enable him to demolish the shallow Mao/Marx ideas of the probable candidate of the Democrats.

1) No chance.

2) If it were the ticket, which it won’t be, I would vote for it over the dumbass that’s in there now.

That said, this is the stupidest thread so far today.

Oh please stop the fantasies. Palin is wonderful but is not going to be Prez and Ollie could not even beat the Dem Sen. from Va. when he ran. Stop the dreaming and go with a Pub who is a solid conserv, has experience, plus will get all wings of the Party plus Indies to agree. The GOP must have a geographic balanced ticket but both must be conservs who can draw even Reagan Dems in.

Oliver North has been particularly vocal about the disaster it would be having homos serving openly in the military.

Perhaps he is unfamiliar with the "customs" here. Maybe he doesn't realize that when a n00b doesn't make a followup post on a thread, he is automatically considered a troll. Or maybe he doesn't know how to read pings yet.

Or maybe he really is a troll. I don't know this yet, but then I guess I'm not as sharp as you guys. /s
