Vote in our Poll: Should Sarah Palin run for president in 2012?
GOPUSA ^ | October 8, 2010

Rumors have ramped up recently concerning Sarah Palin's activities and her political plans for 2012.

As always Palin is a controversial figure. She continues to draw huge crowds wherever she appears and many, but not all, of her endorsements have paid off the candidates in the primary season.

Some say she has no chance, she's too divisive, they won't support her. What do you say? Please leave a comment to explain your reasons for your answer.

Rush LImbaugh had some comments yesterday about conservative candidates who are controversial.

Should Sarah Palin run for president in 2012?

I guess you didn’t read far enough. I said that while we might not see her as radical that there are many that do. I can’t speak to their FEARS. There are those out there that absolutely HATE her. If they don’t view her as radical, why do they HATE her, and say that they hate her?

The people that hate her are low lifes and they should be treated as such. They are the problem. She is not the problem.

” I don’t think she’s electable at this point in time. I hope I’m wrong, but this is just my honest opinion.”

She's not electable in the same way Ronald Reagan wasn't electable.
The media had a greater hatred for Reagan.

I agree- Rush had a great bit on his show one day this week where he got angry with those on our side who are “embarrassed” by people like Sarah Palin and Christine O’Donnell - who let the left wing propagandists intimidate them into buying into their lies (which come from their abject fear of these candidates). We can’t allow ourselves to believe this crap. When you listen to these conservative candidates their message is solid, their values are solid, and there is nothing to be ashamed of....unless you are embarrassed about being a conservative in the first place. That is the stance of RINOs, not principled Conservatives.

The people that hate her love abortion and other Marxist schemes.

That's probably a big one.

Last fall, we had a family get together. My father and stepmother came from out of state for a week. Palin's name got brought up and my stepmother stated that she couldn't stand Palin and hated her. My sister and I just decided to let it go considering we hadn't seen them in about 10 years and didn't see a point in creating a war during the one day visit.

I know that and you know that, but, they are entitled to their opinions, no matter how wrong they are.

What's your sudden interest, particularly your negative interest in Sarah Palin?

We might like it, because we like her, but, there are tons that don't and they sure don't want her radical positions.

And what "radical positions" would those be?

Radical positions like downsizing DC, making America energy independent again, cutting the federal budget, ending useless and destructive entitlement programs, steering the government back to its senior policy, the Constitution, fully supporting our military by letting them win the wars they fight, busting the chops of the 'progressives' and all the other Commies in Washington?

You mean radical positions like those?

Seriously, you're either drinking the left-wing Kool-Aid, or you're trying to serve it. Pardon me, but no thanks. I'll be voting for Sarah Palin, fearless American patriot.

You’re terribly defensive.

You said she holds “radical” positions.

What’s your sudden interest?

You’ve posted more on this particular thread than on any other in your posting history.

New found interest? Just asking.

You’d be guessing wrong. I’ve explained my thoughts on her running for President in several posts. Just because someone doesn’t agree with you on everything doesn’t make them a troll.

I’ve said that I would vote for her, I just am not so sure about non republicans or if we could pull some democrats into her corner for votes. What is so bad with that view?
It’s honest.

right.

maybe im ignorant or something..

Try as I may.. I can’t figure out what possible reason there is for someone to hate Sarah Palin. It doesnt even make sense. Here is somebody who people should look up to. By all indications she seems like a nice lady. What the hell do people have against her.

For someone with “radical positions” a whole of people agree with Gov. Palin.

Whose views are closer to your own? Palin/Obama

Overall: 52/40

Male: 55/37
Female: 48/43
White: 58/35
Black: 5/87
GOP: 84/9
DEM: 14/81
INDY: 59/27
Conservative: 80/12
Moderate: 28/61
Liberal: 14/85

Or these:

“.....76% of Republicans and 52% of unaffiliated voters now hold a favorable opinion of Palin.”

“...Unaffiliated voters by a 41% to 36% margin see Palin as good for the GOP.”

Liar. How far back did you go? I posted a lot regarding my liking Palin during the last election. My gripe with that ticket was Mclame. But, we still had their sign in our yard.

I take breaks from politics at times and post in other threads. I used to hang out a lot in the American Idol threads til Degenerate became a judge. Ask jonny.
