Vote in our Poll: Should Sarah Palin run for president in 2012?
GOPUSA ^ | October 8, 2010

Rumors have ramped up recently concerning Sarah Palin's activities and her political plans for 2012.

As always Palin is a controversial figure. She continues to draw huge crowds wherever she appears and many, but not all, of her endorsements have paid off the candidates in the primary season.

Some say she has no chance, she's too divisive, they won't support her. What do you say? Please leave a comment to explain your reasons for your answer.

Rush LImbaugh had some comments yesterday about conservative candidates who are controversial.

I completely agree....some on the right seem to buy the leftist slander that “she hasn’t done enough” or that she is stupid. She has done plenty more than the jackass and economic ignoramus Obama. They slandered Reagan the same way, calling him stupid, just an actor, “an ambiable dunce” ...we cannot adopt these kneejerk attitudes. When you listen to Sarah Palin she has a common sense, straightforward conservative message, very Reaganesque as a matter of fact. I think she would make a great president. Plus, the icing on the cake would be if the first female president turned out to be a conservative! How delicious would that be to take that triumph away from the Dems!

Riiiight. "President Huckabee"...

NOT gonna happen. There will never be a "President Bumwad." There will never be a "President Schitsickle." And there will never be a "President Huckabee." I'm sorry, but nobody in America wants to spend four years hearing about "President Huckabee." It just sounds too "Gomer Pyle," too "Limley Gilbert" to make it in Poughkeepsie.

However, there will be a "President Palin," and it'll happen 25 months from right now. Bank on it.

;-/

Wouldn’t it be nice to think that a so-called American leader would actually address the murderous border issue and protect it’s citizens from SHARIA LAW by enforcing our constitution?

If you let the MSM influence your vote away from a conservative, who is being attacked because she IS a threat to the socialist progressives, then you are best advised to stay home. The MSM does not control the elections if you ignore their tactics.

I like her, I just feel she needs another position, be it VP, Senator, before she will be seen as viable for people other than Tea Partiers. jmo I think if she can get a VP spot, then that would set her up for a Presidential run. I just think the media has made her damaged goods for a Presidential run at this point in time.

Nothing against her at all. I voted for her the last time, and would do so again, even for President. But, we NEED to win. If we don’t have a very strong candidate that non republicans and independents can feel good about supporting, I’m afraid we may not get another chance.

Sarah Palin and one of the PAULS?! Are you schizophrenic or something? Great way to plant a poison pill in your own campaign/ Why not just get John McLame to be her running mate?!

“MSM has really tarnished her reputation.”

Tell me one conservative that has NOT been tarnished
by the MSM.
Add to that Michael Savage is so venomous about her,
claiming that if she were the nominee, Obozo would win all 50 states.
As for myself, I have no problem with her, but many republicans like to eat their own.

The ONLY antidote against radicals like Obama is another radical that is opposite of him. You think, in such stressful time, but ppl will settle for a moderate? Someone who will not rock the boat type of person?

Too many freepers buy into the Marxist propoganda from the state-run media and regurgitate words like “unelectable, stupid, inexperienced, too extreme, etc.”

Sara has a genuine love for our country, has an infectious enthusiasm and she absolutely drives the commies crazy. She would win in a landslide.

No. The LAST thing they would want is another radical. We might like it, because we like her, but, there are tons that don't and they sure don't want her radical positions.

She would win in a landslide.

Then I guess this poll is really off, because it seems rather evenly divided.

Sarah Palin doesn’t hold radical positions. Obama is a Marxist.
