Last night I watched Karl Rove drive the final nails into his political coffin, as he double-downed his attacks against Christine ODonnell, on Greta Van Susterens show On The Record. It may be awhile before the funeral takes place, but the coffin is finished, no doubt.
The night before I had watched as Rove began his public self-immolation, on The Sean Hannity Show. Hannity, to his credit, defended ODonnell against Roves surprising (to me, at least) and graceless attack, after her win against Power Elite insider, Mike Castle, in the Delaware Republican primary.
(Kudos to Sean Hannity for standing up to Rove, however, I hope he wont mind a bit of friendly advice: lose the UN-blue power tie. Its a bit of sartorial style that was first popularized by the anointed one himself, Obamabesides, well its UN-blue).
Response to Roves rant by true conservatives was immediate, and almost unanimously, negative.
Rush Limbaugh said, Everyone I know that saw this was justthey were perplexed and said, Whats going on?
Michelle Malkin noted that, Rove came across as an effete sore loser instead of the supposedly brilliant and grounded GOP strategist that hes supposed to be.
Last night when Van Susteren had Rove on her show, I fully expected to see some fancy damage-control back-pedaling. Nope.
Figuratively speaking, Rove took out hammer and nails, and went about sealing his political coffin, with a will. If youll permit me to mix metaphors, his aim was unerring, when it came to shooting himself in the foot. His performance was stunningly tone deaf, arrogant, and elitist.

He can always get a job for MSNBC when Joe Scarborough is on vacation.
He’s as big a narcissist as Obama. He should take a cue from his former boss and disappear.
I thought bart simpson was cool.
LOL! I’m waiting for Karl to imitate Dick Morris in reverse and run to the dark side.
Maybe he had to get ready for his appearance with Ed Schultz.
Me thinks that we may be on the verge of "establishment" politicians scrambling for cover as "non-establishment" politicians begin to fill the ranks in Washington and start showing us what the "establishment" politicians truly are.
Dimocrat, Republican, AND independent, all.
Rove is a double-crossing snake.

If Mike Castle becomes the next United States Senator from Delaware he is going to get sworn in, serve a bit, then become a Democrat, resign, and let Beau Biden get an appointment.
Its a done deal. The deal has been made already. Im hearing this not just from Christine ODonnell people, but party regulars in Delaware, some of whom support Castle. It is insane.
Maybe that is why Mike Castle is running from Christine ODonnell. He is afraid to have to answer questions about this. The man will not debate her to save his life.

As far as I can tell, the only part of the Republican Party that's being hurt is the part we need to get rid of anyway. The part trying to turn it into Democrat-lite.
He has not only ruined his reputation but will forever be looked at as just another establishment Republican Party pusher.
He seems to be following the path he laid out for Bush. First get half the people to hate you, and then work to destroy any goodwill you have with the rest.
Rather than say that before he commented he would prefer to sit down with Christine and/or her staff to go over some issues, he simply threw the trash at her insulting every voter who chose Christine over Castle.
He just stepped on is di##
Tokyo Rove is the pinhead of the week.
The only career Karl has left is smooching with MSM robots and cleaning poop for RINOs.
Could be even worse...had he won the senate seat, he could very well have done a Jeffords/Spector switch...which would have not surprised me in the least.
He reminds me of the wicked witch with his skinny boney looks.
Newt Gingrich’s funeral should have come after his Dede Scozzafava debacle, which followed his joint global warming PSAs with Nancy Pelosi. Yet there Newt is, on Hannity whenever he likes. Preaching to the base and welcomed by it. Well not by me. Newt can f**k off. And so can Rove.
And when you do it, be sure to ping me—I want to make sure I get a look at it.
Yes... Newt is just another establishment Republican that continues to attempt to regain public support regardless of his anti-Republican antics. He along with Rove and Rauthammer need to be analyzed in today’s light...
