Remember 2008's Pumas? They were the Hillary die-hards, after it was clear that Obama was going to win the nomination and Hillary kept at it anyway. The first two letters of Puma stood for party and unity. The next one was my. Got it?
Christine O'Donnell, the tea party candidate for Senate in Delaware, says they're back and they're with her:
"I do want to point out that we have broad based support, we've got a lot of Hillary Democrats working behind us -- with us -- because they're frustrated with what this administration is doing," O'Donnell (R-DE) said this morning on Fox News.
"A lot" could mean that the campaign has gotten three such calls. So I think this should be taken with a grain of salt. Remember when the Pumas were going to gravitate to the GOP ticket because of Sarah Palin?
However, O'Donnell is in a statistical tie with the establishment GOP candidate, Mike Castle, who is 71 and has held elective office of one sort or another for four decades. She could win tomorrow. One would think in Delaware this would almost ensure the election of the Democrat, a fellow named Chris Coons. So lots of liberals are cheering for an O'Donnell win tomorrow.

I’m not sure I would want the support of anyone stupid enough to believe there’s a dime’s worth of difference between Hillary’s core beliefs and Obama’s. She may try harder to mask it where I think he gets a thrill out of poking us in the eye but in the end they are both hard core leftist/socialists Alinskyites.
Don't believe the hype - its a sequel
Is it really smart to refer to the PUMAs as "broads"?
Read the whole article: It’s really about Gov. Sarah Palin and Mrs. O’Donnell in Delaware.
I would welcome any PUMAs to join us. We have a common enemy. Obama stole the nomination from you and stole the country from us.
If the PUMAs or any other democrats are working to help Christine defeat Castle, it is because they believe that Castle would easily win the general election but their democrat candidate can beat O'Donnell.
PUMA’s? Weren’t they the ones that were going to push McCain past Obama in the last election?
PUMAs didn’t do us any good in 2008. What makes anyone think they can do better this time?
How do we know that? King Hussein had a bigger bankroll than most nation-states, 98.9% of the press in his corner, ACORN, SEIU, AFL-CIO, the economic crash, Steve Schmidt, LaRaza, LULAC, homosexuals, the Black Panthers, white guilt, NAACP, the Daley Machine, nutroots, academia, the hippies, Hollywood, Wall Street, George Soros, Gaza Palestinians and who knows who else behind him. We had Sarah Palin, bitter clingers and some PUMAs.
Last time I checked, Obama was largely elected by women, probably including the so-called “PUMAs.”
No, it's really not. I said IF these PUMAs are really supporting her (which I don't believe they are but IF they are) then the reason is not because they will support her in the general but because they think her candidacy gives their candidate a chance that THEY THINK he doesn't have against Castle.
The PUMA myth returns.
I’m not sure they ever really existed.
I have two homo friends that voted for McCain because they were upset over how Obama treated Hillary.
Otherwise, I don’t know of any PUMAs. I think they were phoney.
The polls said Obama would win by four. He won by four.
PUMA’s. What a joke...some pollsters pipe dream. I remember how the PUMA’s were going to rise up against obama and sweep Juan McCain into office. Ha.
There is a real solid reason to support PUMAs.
If Hillary runs against Obama, it will generate a LOT of interest in the democrat party. Democrats will want to vote for the candidate of their choice.
To vote in the Dem primary, democrats will register as democrats, not as republicans.
Thus, in states with open primaries, the democrats will not be registering as republicans. And it thus follows that democrats will not be influencing the republican choice for POTUS candidate.
No more McCain-like weak candidates.
Who Were Those Clinton-McCain Crossover Voters?

They were mostly hype.
