Not a surprise. 23 percent is about right. I am surprised she did not get 40 percent. I know there were a few other candidates in the mix. She will get everyone but the disapproval which is about 48 percent. Her approvals are 40 percent so I don’t know where the other 17 percent went. If I were her I would study this to find out what she needs to do to get that other 17 percent support.

Romney, Pawlenty, Huck, Newt, Santorum... I don’t think so.

Palin is the only one.

RomneyCARE: "What about me? I have a cahone, too, or whatever."

Romney praises Obama again
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney praised President Obama
at a GOP fundraising dinner Wednesday ..
"I also think it's important for us to nod to the president when he's right," Romney said....
Romney, who spoke at a dinner for the National Republican Senatorial Committee,
said he's pleased with the president's plans to "finish the job" in Iraq and Afghanistan
-- lines that drew applause from the partisan audience. He also applauded the president
for standing up to the auto industry.
"I hope he continues to be tough ....The former businessman even offered faint praise for
Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, saying that after a series of initial missteps,
"I think he's finally getting close to the right answer."

Perspectives from a FR conservative Dem: 1, 2, & 3. J.D. in AZ

1. "Todd at the Top!"

2. Pending - need list of candidates who are suitable for 2010 and 2012...
And, a list of those who are not suitable -

PRIME LIST:

Empty - Pending - You have to prove yourself.

My Prime contenders, at this time (Aug 3): West, Christie, Bachmann (1 L, 2 N's).

Others for consideration: Former CA Congressman Duncan Hunter; Amb. / Dr. Alan Keyes

The Palins - I prefer "Todd at the Top!" Not that Todd Palin will necessarily be a candidate, but if the Palin Family pursues a political career, I would like to see Todd take the lead...

GOP Non-Starters / reject: Rudy, mcC, Mitt, Huck. For some / many conservatives, there are strong feelings of "NO more Bushes".
Gingrich, etc. - he just gave a good speech. Ok, but West has that subject covered. Gingrich had his chance & squandered leadership. More Non-starters - "... the GOP establishment that created the mess, that the Tea Party movement is trying to clean up...The Tea Party needs fresh people with fresh ideas, on how to cut the size of government. Old GOP has-beens cannot contribute much to the debate on restoring American freedoms. - by pinochet

Dem Non-starters: Virtually all prominent Democrat leaders... Democrats need to find new talent!

Need a list of prominent politicians (and celebrities) who should NOT be serving in American government / who should NOT be considered for a Cabinet post.

3. Guv / Mrs. Palin made the wrong endorsement in AZ. Mrs. Palin should immediately travel to Arizona and give a stong endorsement to J.D. Hayworth for U.S. Senate. If Mrs. Palin refuses to make this endorsement, then I would like to see Todd Palin get involved and make an endorsement to J.D. Hayworth for U.S. Senate.

MucksaraCain, Change Your Endorsement! For some / many of us who were thrilled to see Gov. Palin on the ticket in 2008, with this AZ endorsement disaster (and the Calif. US Senate endorsement), Ma Grizzle has lost her sizzle.

In 2008, Gov. Palin told us about "reform" in Alaska, and the need for "reform" in D.C. So what does Mrs. Palin do in AZ (& Calif.) in 2010, she gives us nothing more than just more PAU. PAU, Politics As Usual!

Conservatives Give me back my conservative vote; then find me a real conservative to vote for - by freekitty - 7/9/2010

Why did John McCain let it get so bad? - by donna

J.D. Hayworth for U.S. Senate - Arizona, U.S.A.

I gave to Joe Wilson the day after, to Scott Brown seven days before and next to JD Hayworth. - by frithguild - 7/9/2010

Come On, Palins, do what is right and endorse J.D. in AZ!
