Some of Sarah Palins riskiest endorsements scored major victories Tuesday for the former Alaska governor, showing off her power in Republican primaries.
Palin had four primary endorsements in play Carly Fiorina, Nikki Haley, Terry Branstad and Cecile Bledsoe and three won or moved on to a runoff.
Palin served different roles for each candidate sometimes spotlighting conservatives not well known to the national scene while at others validating conservative credentials to an unsure grassroots and even stepping in to deflect nasty attacks.
Perhaps Palins most powerful demonstration came in South Carolina, where her endorsement propelled a major swing in the polls for Haleys primary campaign for governor and sustained the state representative through accusations of two separate affairs.
"Her decision to get - and stay - involved in the race here in South Carolina was a huge boon to our campaign, because it caused a lot of South Carolinians to take a second look at a rising in the polls but once-little known state legislator who was fighting to give them back their government, Haley spokesman Tim Pearson said of Palin.
Palin was quick to defend Haley from blogger Will Folks, who claimed to have had an inappropriate physical relationship with Haley, writing on her Facebook page that Folks was trying to make things up.
Palin recorded a robocall for Haley in the closing days, urging South Carolinians to ignore the made-up nonsense.(continued)

If she had pulled Cecele Bledsoe over the line in Huck's backyard last night, it would have been Ripley's believe-it-or-not stuff. Bledsoe got 13% in the primary and made the runoff by 158 votes. She went from 13% to 49+% in the runoff. Incredible stuff.
Sarah Smoked Huck and Check mated Mittens all in one nite. Sarah has also put some would be governors in a very difficult position as well.
As for me being a fan, I have few heroes. I'm not very emotional that way. I'm just as happy to challenge the thinking of even someone I think is generally on the right track.
If you have not picked up from my posts, the GOP needs some adjustment. There are core conservative principles that can't be ignored. To the extent Palin is abandoning those, I will find fault with her. At times, my comments in that regard may be overstated but so is blind cheer leading.
Because she would be a heck of a lot better than Obama. Next question.
First, the newbie label does not work with me. Save it. I’m quite sure I can hold my own with you on FR.
As for Reagan, or anyone else for that matter, I don’t blindly follow anyone. I’m under no illusions that anyone is perfect - except of course for the guy that put this show in motion.
Say what you will, you're a newbie, as I was once and everyone else was at one time, unless this is your 2nd or 3rd go-round? I've proven myself a conservative over the last four years, as I'm sure you will, or you won't be around long enough for it to be a problem. I'm sure you can hold your own, I was merely illustrating for you and the others that there is no "pure conservative" or perfect person, save for Christ Our Lord, and He's not running for office --- He's the King! Have a great day!
My religion demands that I speak out when I see the faithful and the seekers being deceived by a false teaching. I suppose Biblical Christianity isn't afforded same deference as are other "religions," just as Christ told us it would be. Just commenting, not complaining or arguing.
I'm confident that a "Religion Moderator" would be sufficiently blessed with the discernment needed to tell the difference. Have a nice day.

This has to be perhaps the second time Politico has
had decent words for Sarah Palin
Reagan’s biggest mistake was selected Bush as his VP
Please point out where 2DV stated that - in any way - in his remarks leading up to your post.
Appreciate your clarification. No offense taken. Just keep getting hit with that label and it is a bit irritating. I’ll take it as friendly razing of the new guy instead.
That's because Sarah Palin carries a huge map of the U.S. in her head, and she sees every state at once.
Nope, I’ve been assured by ABC/CBS/CNN/NBC/NPR/PBS and NYT/WaPo/LAT that she’s a redneck moron that can barely read and just got plastic surgery or somesuch.
Thanks. That is quite an honor on your threads. Keep up the good work.
You’re welcome and thanks for some great posts.
