Republicans Must Attack Dems on Education

Memo to Republican Leaders: Republicans should exploit the HUGE advantage they have in education.

Everybody knows, deep-down, that it's liberals who are screwing up the schools. Let's start shouting this from the rooftops! Every day!

The linked article, published almost a year ago, gives all the basic points. Please pass this along to candidates, campaign managers, etc.

(I have 100+ articles on the web explaining how the Education Establishment is dumbing down the country. I can usually explain what various policies actually achieve, versus what is promised.)

TOPICS: Issues; State and Local; U.S. Congress; U.S. Senate
KEYWORDS: campaign; charterschools; education; gop; issues; politics; society; strategy

1. Base pay on experience + a set evaluation program (test scores + lesson plan creation + extra-curricular participation).

2. DESTROY ALL UNIONS EXCEPT FOR LEGAL DEFENSE AGAINST LITIGIOUS PARENTS.

3. Gut curriculum consulting - allow teachers to receive stipends for doing this. Retirees don’t need to be paid 200K to create curriculum no teacher will implement.

4. KILL THE NEA.

Conservatism will not make much headway unless we as conservatives infiltrate public schools. Don’t like the way teachers are? Become one and do it. Don’t like the way schools are run? Become a school administrator, superintendent, or run for school board. Don’t like what is taught in schools? Bombard your state-level officials with alternative curricula. These steps are indeed possible....and often ignored.

Democrats are wrong on just about everything. How can so many people be so outrageously wrong?

The problem with this philosophy is that Education is a STATE matter NOT federal. If Republicans use this a national campaign issue, it will contradict claims that education is a state matter.

Much of what the author is saying is well-known on this site.

Oh, come on guys...everyone knows that the reason education is failing is because the mean ogre republicans do not allow the democrats to spend enough.

“Republicans Must Attack Dems on Education”

Amen and amen . . . albeit 30 or 40 years tardy.

**Getting rid of the NEA will not fix the government schools.
**Having better hiring practices or improved curriculum will not fix the government schools
** Returning to some magical decade ( 1950s, 1930s, or 1890s) will not fix the government schools.

Why?

Because government are socialism and socialism can not be fixed! All government schools in this nation are funded through compulsory taxation. That means armed police force will be brought aganist any citizen that refuses to fund them.

From the very first **minute** that government schools opened in the mid-1800s, children learned that government could take money from their neighbor to pay for a service their parents wants for tuition-free! And...Their teachers teach them that it is their **right**!!!! Well?...If the government can take money for schools why not for a thousand other wants and needs?

Within one to 3 generations of socialist modeled government schooling ( my great grandparents, grandparents, and parents) we had:

**the IRS
** the direct election of Senators
** Unions
** the federal reserve
** feminism
** the failed League of Nations followed by the abominable U.N.
** FDR’s New Deal for **four** terms!!!
** Johnson’s Great Society
** the abolishment of the gold standard
** and thousands of socialist programs and agencies.

Is is any wonder? I don’t think so! If children are send to socialist schools they become very comfortable with accepting socialism!

Also...government schools have **always** from the mid-1800s be dominated by Utopian Progressives. They lobbied for the idea of socialist modeled government schools. They have always been in charge of curriculum and teacher training. And...They have continually pushed secularism to the point that now government schools are utterly and completely godless in their worldview.

Government schools can NOT be fixed because government schools ARE socialism. Socialism can not be fixed.

( Not proof read.)
