Yup. There really should be like a three month moratorium on starting new threads for noobs...
That's interesting. I signed up about three months before I had enough guts to start posting. That time period could be about right for someone to start catching on to how things work around here. It was for me and I'm still learning.
I agree, unless a special exception is made for some big time voice [like Drudge, etc.]. Or no new members can start threads unless they donate $10 ? $5 ?
To start threadsw immediately — $20.
To wait one month — $10.
To wait three months — $5.
To wait one year — nothing required.
Then trolls would have to help pay our way, or wait a full year before starting threads.
LOL I’ve been here since 2004 and have never posted a new thread....I’m really afraid that I always arrive too late with stories that have already been posted. :(
