Next time one of the hate groups you’re a member of has a party, look at those people, they’re probably not welcome here, especially if they smell like hippies.
I’ve checked out a few places were banned members get together. I’m sorry, but MOST of them aren’t that impressive. Obviously, though, no system is perfectly fair. I’m glad it’s not my job — what a nightmare.
And there’s one particular banned member who I absolutely like who was allowed back after a fund raiser was made in his honor. Donations for the FR. If you know someone like that, kool — help inspire other freepers to promise donations and work something out.
What proof have you of this?? Hmmmm... An accusation without one shread of proof? Sounds an awful lot like the State Run Media to me........Same as the accusations and attempts at personal destruction of Sarah Palin without any evidence. Now 17 investigations later.........
I don’t remeber people being banned for being supporters of these people you named pretty much every Republican or alternate choice to Obama in your field. I think now that we’ve seen what Barry has done even McCain and Ron Paul are starting to look like good Alternatives.

Speaking strictly for myself, I come here to gather information, share political insight and humor, become aware of activities and share a laugh or argue points that are germane to conservatism (and yes, that sometimes gets heated) but they all revolve around conservatism and its advancement...not its deconstruction.
I wouldn’t WANT to be here if I were not conservative and I really don’t understand why anyone would want to be a member of a club they don’t want to be in, but to each his own, I guess.
I have never even once gone to a website that I know is antagonistic to my core beliefs...I find nothing of value, no challenge or nothing that will be a life or mind altering piece of information...I am not a college sophomore, my views are already quite well developed, thank you and really come here to find out what is going on that may have an impact on the way I live my life, not to give or receive a seminar...

What took you so long to stir the pot?
Everyone is welcome but don’t expect to find a warm reception if you support big government initiatives and social liberalism. This is a conservative forum as Jim has emphasized several times. I personally am not offended having posts from who ever wishes provided they are willing to take the flack. The only people who get banned are those who break the rules. I’ve did that myself more than once and had to take a day off.
I also have gained a lot of respect for Huckabee and think he would make a great Senator or Congressman from Arkansas. I did not care about his furloughs of criminals and his talk about building a bridge to the middle and the idea that the Reagan Revolution was dead (though I believe that was more his campaign manager). Romney I don’t care for because he represents the typical unprincipled politician and until he proves that his change from a social and fiscal liberal is nothing more than a sham then I’ll always be critical of him as I believe any conservative should be. I always judge politicians based upon their deeds first and their words second.
I could go on but the best way to contribute here is to post and be willing to be debated and sometimes derided just as you would in any forum. This is not an air conditioned room where the questions and comments are pre-approved. If you can take the heat this is a good place to come up with good ideas and also make some good friends.
Everyone takes flack sometimes. A part of being an adult and not a child is that you accept that as part of the world of grownups.

You can maybe make your stock here go up a few points if you tell us who and where, specifically, you have heard this garbage about Free Republic....something we can verify???
My 2 cents is that I don’t like it when these Guiliani, Romney, or whatever groups. I don’t think it makes one difference or another.
