Republican Party of Florida website ignores Rubio
The Buzz, Florida Politics ^ | 06/01/09 | Adam Smith

The state GOP may be officially neutral in the Republican U.S. senate primary, but as an e-mailer points out to Buzz, you would be hard-pressed to know that Charlie Crist even faces a challenger if you went to the RPOF site. It contains plenty of news about Crist's campaign and endorsements but nada that we can see about Marco Rubio.

Why is the Florida GOP trying to squash Marco Rubio? It's bad enough Jim Greer tried to throw all the RPOF's resources at Crist's campaign, but this is low.

Time for some competition!! It would be great if someone knowledgeable about setting up a rival site could help Marco Rubio create his own website!!

I can, but I think he has people for that. I don’t know what they are doing, but maybe they do.

Or how about just alert all Florida conservatives to what they’re doing? You ARE the party.

Might be a good idea to contact Rubio’s people to see how we could help. The party is doing is the same thing they did to get McCain in - with all the help in the world from Crist!!

This is why we need to CONTROL THE LOCAL GOP.

The state GOPs are essentially extentions of the national GOP.

LOCAL GOPs have their own websites. Have rubio listed there.

ALSO DON’T FORGET SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION. In fact listing crist along with rubio will have double effect of showing crist researchers.

There is more than one FL GOP website.

IN fact why not seek out endorsements from local GOPs to show how out of touch the state leadership is?

I am not a RINO Crist fan but I thought I had a mailing from Rubio sounding very conservative but pro-amnesty? Anyone?

It is past time for us to face the facts. The RNC, GOP and all state orgs of the Republican party want to become one with the dimwits so they too can share in the control of the American people. I believe there has been a concerted effort to take over the Republican party for years and now the RINOs are in the majority in the leadership. We either need to clean out the party or form a new one.

Thanks but still not convinced - from your own link: Below is a well-documented trail by 2008 Florida Speaker Marco Rubio to block consideration of all immigration enforcement bills during his tenure.

If you read it, you would see that Rubio thinks Immigration is a Federal Responsibility. So his record shows that he stands on what he believes, not that he believes in Amnesty. I emailed Marco Rubio and believe it or not he emailed me right back. This is what he said

“I support the enforcement of our current laws. That includes more vigorous and effective border enforcement.

Furthermore, I do not support granting blanket amnesty to people who have entered this country illegally or have illegally overstayed their visa.

I recently did an interview that touched upon this and other subjects. You can view it at http://www.redcounty.com/marco-rubio-illegal-immigration";

Is that enough?
