I beg to differ with the premise of this economic stimulus package that it, as a whole, stimulates the economy when you look at the programs that are entailed in this economic stimulus package, the programs that could end up costing a state so much more at the end of the day, those dont necessarily stimulate the economy. Construction projects do, they bring jobs, Palin said.

Great video. Sarah answered more questions elequently in ten minutes than Bozama has in his entire 3 weeks as president. And, he ain’t elequent.
It’a ‘eloquent’, stupid.
Buzz off, nubie.
LOL!
And then I got to the second sentence where she supports job creation by moving dirt around.
She needs to go away.
You still long for a Tony Blair?
How about social stimulus spending being a loan to be paid back with compound interests to the feds. Unreal, Mich has already taken a billion for their Unemployment Comp fund from feds; will have to raise taxes to pay her back down the road. Palin got it right, don’t take the social spending money from feds. Some states will be so in hock to feds, they will be slaves.
I beg to differ Sarah Has Standing
Sarah is so much more articulate than POTUS/imho
gO SARAH!
So let me get this straight, It’s Palin’s fault that you have a reading comprehension problem?
Bray.
That’s what donkeys do.

Will each state be on the hook for what they 'borrow/receive' in stimulus funds? I thought all things Federal were heaped on every taxpayer (well, the ones who pay them, anyway). This is news to me. Sounds like a good system though, more accountable to states who wrecklessly operate their budgets and such.
Truth is easily spoken, deception, like a web, requires much 'weaving'. King Kenyan of the Tax Dodgers takes frequent 'ums', and 'ahs' breaks while spinning his little web.
Sarah is a rough diamond in need of some polish. Still, it would be foolish to toss her in favor of a shiny piece of quartz. She went round one with the media and got bloodied a bit- had her 'corner' (McCain handlers) been qualified, they'd have seen the rabbit punches coming and prepped her by keeping her guard up.
But, in their defense, they were busy trying to elect a 'nice guy'. Whose opponent wrapped GW around his neck like a python every chance they got and, when it got to the wire, pulled the "It's the worst economy, ever" act that got Clinton elected.
With polish, Sarah will be the diamond Americans can be proud of. Her roots, that of an Alaskan, go much deeper into the bedrock of freedom that many in the lower 48 have forgotten.
The creeping socialism we endure day after day comes from a source foreign to folks who hunt to fill a freezer to feed their families.
My memories of Alaska will live with me forever. Two of my best friends were sons of pilots: one an airline pilot (who lived across the street), the other, a bush pilot. They lived three houses apart on an unpaved street. Doug's dad (the bush pilot and sourdough*) took us on hunting trips and wore a .44 mag in a holster where ever he went. So did his brother, Terry. And, he had a re-loader in the basement for all his calibers(.243, .264, etc). My dad was a pilot also, and had flown the B-17 as a squadron commander with the 8th Air Force out of England. But his job at Elmendorf, Alaska was pulling targets for interceptors (105's and 106's) training for NORAD in the event Russia sent low-flying bombers across the North pole. If called upon, the pilots of these little delta-winged fighters knew going out that they wouldn't have enough fuel or wingspan to return. They'd have to ditch over the Artic somewhere.
This was my Alaskan experience. This was the "Last Frontier" in many respects. Getting there was a story in itself, but I'll spare you. Suffice to say, it's a beautiful state, larger than Texas (if you can imagine) yet, very harsh.
Sarah comes from this state. Wouldn't surprise me in the least if some of her experiences weren't the same. California gave us Reagan. Imagine what Alaska could bring us?
*sourdough= anyone with 30+ years in Alaska.
Hey budwiesest,
Ever since Sarah Palin came into our lives here in the dreary lower 48, and especially now that she’s gone away, I can’t get enough of everything Alaska. Every week I’m glued to North to Alaska hosted by Larry Czonka and Jim Shockey’s show both on Versus Country. I can’t get enough of shows about moose and grizzly bear. There’s something so majestic about moose. Do you think maybe Sarah smiling up there in Alaska and making everyone around her feel good is the real source of the beautiful Aurora Borealis-northern lights? haha.
They're a lot bigger in person. We had cow on a golf course (Moose Run GC near Ft. Richardson) chase after a guy in the group ahead of us because he stepped between her and her calf. He dumped his bag and ran swinging an iron behind him. She didn't chase him too far. Once she could see her calf was safe, she just headed over to it. The trees and brush around the course made it impossible to see the cow so the poor guy never saw her 'till she was right on him.
