I dislike race and gender politics, no matter who benefits from it.

I’m a man, and I like Sarah Palin, she is what made me feel good about voting for McCain.

Another interesting take on Sarah.

Hopefully, we won’t have to wait until 2016, 2012 sounds better.

I think it’s time to have a DOG in the Oval Office. My German Shepherd, f’rinstance. She is at least as qualified as the current President-in-Waiting. She has excellent manners — tho’ she does chew with her mouth open, at least her teeth are sparkling clean and razor sharp. She’s always a GOODDOG, she’s photogenic, and she has sound fiscal policies (she has never borrowed a cent in her life, neither does she overspend). On foreign policy, she is quite clear: “WOOF! WOOF!” And on the WOT and Osama bin Laden she is unequivocal: “Grrrrrrrr..!”

As an added bonus, she could dispense with the Secret Service escort: nobody in their right mind would meddle with her.

Hmm, that could all be summed up just by saying that she is a ‘real woman’

She reminds me of Sarah Connor.

“John McCain’s V. P. pick is Governor Sarah Palin of Alaska!”

.........................................

“Oh, my God,” came the involuntary cry of the ordinarily humanistic, intellectual atheists of the Democratic Party.

The Progressive Democrats’ worst nightmare had arrived and the inevitable order went out, “We must destroy her!”

As a tribute to Governor Palin, she has, after weathering this blisteringly malicious campaign, earned the right to eventually sit in the Oval Office and behind a desk known as The Intrepid … and her family, certainly as beleaguered a target as Governor Palin has been, would henceforth be known as The Most Fearless of First Families!

It’s time to prepare for 2012

The best thing about Sarah is that she will win in 2012.

Be there.

Except for #6 there’s hardly a hint her of her ideas, values, and principles. I’d rather focus much more attention on those and note that her (mostly) conservative ideas come in an exciting package. I’m a strong admirer of Governor Palin but she has a lot she needs to do in the next few months and years to build upon her opportunity for a national role:

1) salvage Alaska’s budget and economy in the face of plunging oil prices which will be killing their surplus.

2) devote herself to sucessful governance there b/c her national prospects will evaporate if she does not continue to build a strong track record as Governor.

3) develop and/or express more ideas in speeches and writings - she has Reagan/Thatcher potential, I believe, but she has a long way to go in terms of actually expressing a wide range of conservative principles and practices.

(You may experience mild barfiness on occasion)

Yep.

4. She’s ballsy. She stood up to all the mean girls who trashed her, the perverts who made pornography of her, and the media who mocked her; and she did it with grace, HUMOR, a big wide smile on her face, and 4 kids in tow.
