Google displaying computer damage warning on GOP search
Google search results ^
Posted on 10/18/2008 11:04:01 AM PDT by glock_fan
I went on line to find the phone number of my local GOP headquarters and I googled California GOP. What I got was a list of valid GOP sites but every one has a warning stating that the site may harm your computer.
I notified the GOP rep. about this. He believes a hacker is at work.
No such problem with Yahoo.

It is a google error message what a bunch of losers. This is just one of the reasons why I refuse to run their ripoff PPC ads on my site...
Google can indiscriminately do this to anyone's website.

I no longer use Google for just this reason. Yahoo is almost as bad as Google but is the lesser of the two evils.

AVG antivirus’ sitescanner doesn’t report anthing amiss. It sounds like someone maliciously reported the site as a political dirty trick.

Does yahoo report if the links are dangerous? If not then google no doubt is helping Obama.

Put this in your desktop:
Then when you are in that site use the links provided to go to other GOP sites. Obviously, the google search is hacked.

I get the same thing every time I go to one of my official US government military sites. You get that warning too stay away from the sites. Communist run propaganda garbage. I don't use google any more. I use whatever else I can find to do searches.

I'm using FireFox and have a current edition of AVG and get the warning message as well. AVG doesn't issue a warning.'
Apparently Google is in bed with the Dems and want to discourage visits to GOP websites. Google has apparently appointed itself as a disciple of "The Ministry of Truth."

Obviously an inside job...there are a lot of leftist pinheads that work at Google. I sent an email complaint to abuse@google.com, for what it’s worth.

Just tried it: "california gop" entered at the google directory site running IE6 - no message/warning.
Seems OK to me.

tried it again from the main google site and DID get a warning. Clicked the warning link, scrolled down, and clicked “no, this message was not helpful”, and entered “stop trying to screw Republicans over, a$$hats!” into the message box.
