Thompson To Stump At Spartan Manor (New Port Richey, Florida)

NEW PORT RICHEY - Fred Thompson will stop here Friday during his first Florida tour since formally announcing last week that he is running for president.

The former actor and senator becomes the star attraction at the fourth annual Reagan Day Dinner at Spartan Manor, 6121 Massachusetts Ave. Social hour is at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7. About 60 tickets remain at $60 each.

Also scheduled to speak at Friday's gathering, sponsored by the Republican Party of Pasco, is Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum, who is state chairman for the Rudy Giuliani presidential campaign.

Thanks so much for posting this. I forwarded the article to a fellow worker who retired to New Port Richey, and she and her husband were able to get a pair of tix. (By the time she got through, they had only six left!)

WOO-HOO! I'll be dining with FRed Thompson tomorrow night!

I got a ticket about an hour ago through someone cancelling out. He'll be speaking about 10 minutes from where I live. I'm feverishly doing my hair and nails as I type (not easy).

I'm all agog. Am I the first freeper to break bread with The Man? If any other freepers will be there, post here and we can hook up.

I'm going to take notes at the dinner.....does Fred really look like a cadaver? Is he lethargic? Is he wearing Gucci loafers? Will Geri be at his side? What will she be wearing?

Seriesly, I hope we can ask questions. If I get a chance for one question, what shall it be? Let me know what's on your freeperish minds. I'm at your service!
