February 1, 2007:
Texas Republican contributors are being solicited to spend $30,000 for dinner with former New York City Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani at the Houstonian Hotel in Houston Feb. 1 to finance his presidential exploratory committee. The private dinner will follow a 6:30 to 8 p.m. cocktail reception, costing $2,100 a person and $4,200 for couples.
The best-known host of Giulianis Houston event is billionaire oilman T. Boone Pickens Jr., chairman of the private equity firm BP Capital Management. Also on Giulianis Texas fund-raising team are Tom Hicks, whose company owns the Texas Rangers baseball team; oil industry executive Jim Lee; and lawyer Patrick C. Oxford.
Hate to break the news to you but you are not allowed to think on here and have your own ideas or you will not be counted one of the 'true' conservatives and will be out in cold with the rest of us that are not worthy to be on this site as we don't march in lockstep! :)
Please answer the question: How do you feel you are doing so far in preventing abortion nation-wide?
Heard the same thing that she wants troops out of Iraq before Pres Bush leaves office but these folks on here that hate Rudy obviously don't care since only one issue counts.
So glad my daughter and son-in-law don't have to go back to a combat zone for the Navy. All the terrorist have to do is wait for Pres Bush to get out of office and hope that Clinton gets elected and their problems are over -- they can take over the US without a fight and the social issues go out the window but these folks stand on principle so they will be happy.
I suspect that they all have problems with rejection. *shrugs*
She is afterall married to the only "peacetime president in our time". /sarc
I do that in spite of my own personal reservations. I have a daughter now; if a close relative or a daughter were pregnant, I would give my personal advice, my religious and moral views ...
DONAHUE: Which would be to continue the pregnancy.
GIULIANI: Which would be that I would help her with taking care of the baby. But if the ultimate choice of the woman - my daughter or any other woman - would be that in this particular circumstance [if she had] to have an abortion, I'd support that. I'd give my daughter the money for it."
"I'm pro-choice. I'm pro-gay rights,Giuliani said. He was then asked whether he supports a ban on what critics call partial-birth abortions. "No, I have not supported that, and I don't see my position on that changing," he responded." -- CNN.com, "Inside Politics" Dec 2, 1999
Question: Do you agree with Giuliani, and would you pay to have your own grandchild killed?
Thanks for your post!

Money is the MOTHER'S MILK of politics; it always has been.
LOL..yeah, that is right.
He won his "wars" without losing a troop...because they were all in jets!!
Or, in the case of Waco..in bulldozers.
I was trying to come with the right word to describe you, and I think I've got it narrowed down to two possibles: "Obnoxious," or simply "noxious." Still thinking on it...
That's ironic - I would use those words to describe you :-)
LOL Yep. "Fighting" harmless "enemies" of the left.
It wasn't long ago, the single biggest issue facing one-issue voters was "securing the borders", now it's "Rudy bashing".
LOL! Good one!
I deny the premise of your statement. There are numerous other potential nominees who would be stronger on national security than Rudy. As a matter of fact I have seen nothing to indicate Rudy is a strong national security candidate.
Unfortunately, I don't think it's going to matter and the debate will be pointless. Congressman David Vitter, the ranking Republican on the House Armed Services Committee stated today that the troop surge is, for all practical purposes, the last stand and if the situation in Iraq has not dramatically improved in six months, withdrawal will become the focus.
We'll be fortunate to make it to 2008.
LOL! Her husband sure depleted our stock of Cruise Missiles considering he was a peacetime President! :)
