Keep supporting Israel
Harris condemns Hezbollah inhumanity
Tampa, FL Representative Katherine Harris, the Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate, supports Israels right to defend itself against militant Islamic terrorists, and its right to live freely in the one true democracy in the Middle East. Harris urges the civilized world to hold Hezbollah accountable for its despicable and cowardly tactics, most notably the use of civilian populations as human shields in its ongoing jihad against the State of Israel.
Congresswoman Harris notes, The people of Israel have already conceded too much to the terrorists living within their borders. The United States must continue to endorse Israels ability to secure its people and its borders from further violence; no differently than the United States would defend itself against Al Qaeda and Osama Bin Laden.
As Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice attempts to forge an agreement to quell the current crisis, Harris hopes that Israels ability to cripple Hezbollahs military capabilities and organizational structure will not be undercut. In 2004, the United Nations passed U.N. Resolution 1559 which committed to disarm Hezbollah, but obviously those promises have not been fulfilled.
Harris continues, Progress can only be achieved if Hezbollah acknowledges Israels fundamental right to exist and immediately ceases the deliberate endangerment of civilian populations. Hezbollah frequently utilizes barbaric warfare tactics that jeopardize the safety of innocent men, woman and children.
Representative Katherine Harris has voted in defense of a strong Israel on numerous occasions including her recent support of House Resolution 921, which condemned Hezbollahs unprovoked attack on Israel. Harris has also supported legislation condemning threats made against Israel by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. If elected to the U.S. Senate, Harris will continue to stand beside Israel as it confronts the evil forces of terror and will do all that is possible to assist Israel in its efforts to achieve a meaningful blueprint for peace.
Katherine Harris, leading Republican Candidate for the United States Senate, currently serves as the Representative for Floridas 13th Congressional District. After receiving a Masters in Public Policy from Harvards Kennedy School of Government, she continued a distinguished career in public service to her native state that began in the State Senate and as Floridas last elected Secretary of State. While continuing her daily work on behalf of Florida with a strong focus on economic and national security issues, Congresswoman Harris is a member of the House Financial Services Committee, the House International Relations Committee and the Homeland Security Committee. Representative Harris has also been appointed to serve on the Congressional Leadership Team as a Deputy Whip and the Speakers Policy Committee. She resides in Longboat Key with her husband Anders Ebbeson and his 24-year-old daughter, Louise along with the constituents of District thirteen.

She is right on and I support what she says...it is the truth. What does the left not "get" about terrorists!
BTTT
They subscribe to the religion of moral equivalency.
PPHHLLBBTT...to those idiots like Congressman Dingbat!

PING
BUMP what you said and I'll add.....I believe Israel is actually fighting Islamic terrorism for the entire world.
Israel gave up land in hopes of achieving peace but the Islamo-facists only took a short 'time-out' to strengthen their armaments and gear up for another attack!
Hezbollah started the current conflict by launching rockets & kidnapping the soldiers. It should now be obvious one cannot negotiate with terrorists because they do not keep agreements.
Your dead on...There is only one thing that is going to work...Destroy those who wish to destroy us..Israel is fighting our fight....Those who want to negotiate with Syria and Iran are very misguided...Those who want us to let France and Europe negotiate for us miss one important issue...They are the ones providing the arms and the ability to fight us..They did in Iraq and the same applies here..If Iran is allowed to get nuclear arms we all might lose. In a big way..I do think that Israel finally is getting it right by by enlarging the ground war...You just cannot do it in the air alone.

Thanks for pinging your list.
Yeah, I know -- I hear the crickets chirping too.
Great! I don't know what the problem is that she's not been a terrific candidate (since I don't live in FL), but I'm glad she's on the right side of this issue.
PLUS SHE CAN'T WIN!!!
Shhhhhh !!! They might hear you........LOL
Of course not! You can't use U.N.Resolution and fulfilled in the same sentence.
Fighting terrorism has been Israel's right and act of survival, long before any of us were born.
Hezbollah didn't keep its promises. Will the world ever learn that you cannot negotiate with terrorists?
