Welcome to the Canteen.

I do not get to spend much time here lately as I would like.

Read your profile too. Probably agree on most things, but certainly not all. Pre 9-11, we were likely on the same page on most stuff....

God bless you--I'm sure this is kind of a bummer night, huh? It'll be better. You are NOT a quitter! I know that!

Thank you so much! My beloved husband, David, is a prince among men. In 1990, he married a single parent of 4 (me) and raised these children like his own, adding his own son to our new family! There are no "steps" in the family, I am mom and David is Dad. It was David who really deserves the credit for Matt. We both went thru heck during his 'rebellious' period, but David showed him how a man takes care of his family, and the lessons stuck. Even now that all the kids are grown and gone, David is the love of my life and my best friend, as I am to him. I became disabled in May of 1991, and he stayed by my side and has been so much support to me, words cannot express how I feel about him except to say that after a long life of grief and pain, God Blessed my with David.

Thanks, beachy, for today's time travel back in TV land. Andy Griffith is a favorite still today. And the Green Hornet was a fun "watch".
