I was in the Kilgore camp as I believe he has done a great job dealing with crime, but there is more to a governor than just a tough on crime stance. Then you need to learn more about Jerry Kilgore.
Fitch may be a good guy and a sound conservative. But he is virtually unknown outside of Fauquier County.
Good Grief!!! His Senators are Potts and Chichester. If he really wants to make a difference why doesn't he run for one of THOSE seats??????

"...why would any on here dismiss him so readily???" Actually, in the GOP primary, I welcome all comers...it's when the RINOs start running as Independents in the General Election that I get perturbed.

He could do a whole lot more good helping take back the Senate from the RINO's than running for Governor. He should think seriously about this option.

Do we have a ron-day-voo point fer tomorrow?
I want a HUGH crowd there so Jeff Schapiro can talk about a "badly divided Republican party." Two days in a row.
That's his schtick. And he needs to be beaten with it.

"He could do a whole lot more good helping take back the Senate from the RINO's than running for Governor." That ignores his personal greed fer getting appointed to a cush high-paying job in the next Kaine Administration, then upping his pension dramatically.

"Do we have a ron-day-voo point fer tomorrow?" Is the announcement in the Tredegar Ironworks or outside it? They're calling fer some rain tomorrow, but I'm not sure what part of the day is gonna be wet. I'll be there in any event...MUD

I'm sure the hope is to be outside. Gilmore's was outside in 1997. It'll be mighty crowded if we all have to move inside...

Ooops...Fitch is the subject of the thread...LOL!! Like I said previously, I've got no problem with Fitch running in the primary. But I'm still supporting Kilgore...MUD

I'm afraid I'm going to have to bow out for tomorrow evening. I'm really sorry but something has come up and I can't get out of it.
Sorry.

Let me know where the "ron-day-voo" point is if one is figured out. Is there a dress code for this thing? My normal work attire is jeans and a t-shirt, but I don't want to be the only one there dressed like a bum.
To: Nick The Freeper
You'll probably see all types of dress. I'll be in business attire.
