I srongly suspect it is in Seattle proper. The King County Elections office has some very strange procedures for handling absentee ballots.

The root of the corruption is believed to be found in the trial attorney community, extending through the courts here.

In a nutshell, elections appear to be bought through absentee ballot fraud.

Pierce County (Tacoma) appears to have followed Seattle's lead in this.

Gorton screwed the pooch big time and paid the price by losing my vote. I'll be damned if I'm going to give any Senator a pass who let The 'Toon skate on his high crimes and misdemeaners. Next target--Patty Tennis Shoes.

Yes, thank God you got someone like Maria Cantwell to take his place and turned the Senate over to the Dems. That sure put 'Toon under the gun.

You really don't want to miss this insight into local libertarian logic. Thank God they're pretty destroyed themselves around here.

I'll vote to fire any Senator who fails to do his Constitutional duty. I don't give a damn what party he claims to be in. I gave him fair warning before he gave The 'Toon a pass. In retrospect, if he'd have done the honorable thing and voted twice to convict he'd probably still be in office. He didn't, and he thus made it posh to lie in court. I and my children suffered terribly from that popular attitude, so he lost my vote, and there's no way Patty will ever earn it. If I had either within reach I'd also give them a swift kick in the ass--elitist outlaws that they are.

And how could anyone ignore fair warning from someone like you?

"I and my children suffered terribly from that popular attitude, so he lost my vote, and there's no way Patty will ever earn it."

Earn it? Maria Cantwell didn't earn your vote last time either...you simply gave it to her.

Slade ignored my fair warning and look where he is.

I didn't vote for Can't Vote Well, twit, I voted Losertarian. She benefited indirectly, but that's the price the WA 'Icans paid for nominating an outlaw promoter like Slade in the first place. If 'Icans want my vote, they'd best nominate law-abiding and law-respecting candidates.

Finally, reality starts to sink in, "Losertarian". Once you can realize that Maria Cantwell benefited directly you might be able to get help for your addiction.

Fortunately you're witnessing a dying breed. The LP pretty much destroyed itself here last election; because of people like you see on this thread.

When most of the people who fell for the LP BS woke up/sobbered up and saw what they had accomplished, they were cured for good.

This is a prime example of why friends don't let friends vote fringe.

You're forgetting 9/11! When most of what was left of FR's Libertarians saw that Browne and the LP came out against the WOT,they forsook it.

Okay, I concede to you two brilliant individuals. In the mean time, one collaborator--Fish Stick Man (who's now on gubbermint welfare)--down, one collaborator--Tennis Shoe Gal--to go.

Maria Cantwell thanks you for your support. She would have never been able to do it without the help of willing tools like yourself.

They kept drinking the Koolaide here. As you can see, Senator Gorton ignored their warnings. That sure taught him to go easy on Clinton.

But hey, Maria Cantwell didn't do too bad for herself. Within six months she had become the largest fund raising Senator. Not bad for a freshman Senator and Losertarian pin-up girl.

Excuse me, but I suspect that English is not your first language. Go easy on The 'Toon? That was Fish Stick Man's problem--he helped let The 'Toon skate by not working to subject him to a meaningful trial and by giving him a pass on perjury. Perjury is an incidious crime. Anyone who aids and abets it must go. By the way, why are you aiding and abetting The 'Toon's perjury?

Of course, and just look at how your girl Maria Cantwell got in there and immediately demanded the 'Toons trial.

Oh, that's right...she just go in there, handed the Senate to the Dems, started raising more money then any other Senator and has been voting liberal every since.

Yep, you sure taught Senator Gorton a lesson all right.
