"To the extent we blew up Iraq, we have to undertake the rebuilding to the extent we caused the deaths of innocent and noncombatant women and children," Kucinich said to employees at GuideOne, an insurance company. "Those families ought to be paid reparations.
"We have to take steps to get out of Iraq because everything about it is wrong. If we don't start insisting that the country get out, the casualties are going to mount, and the costs will go up."

Let's first calculate how much it's worth to them to get rid of a murderous tyrant, who has raped their daughters and killed their sons, and then subtract that from the proposed 'reparations'. I know it's been said before, but what does it say about the Democrats that they take such loony candidates at all seriously?

Hey Dennis, why don't you tell those Baathist pigs who would still be in power if you had your way and who you have more in common with politcally than you do to with the average American, to pay reparations to the Iraqi families they stole from and murdered or to the families of the Americans soilders they murdered trying to defend their tyrannical regime?

Dennis, I know you've been very busy running for president and all, so you may not be aware that last fall the Congress passed a special appropriation of $87B for just exactly this purpose.
As to pulling our troops out of Iraq at this time, is there any point to me pointing out to you that this is the one thing we can do that would beyond question make things worse for the people of Iraq? I mean, who do you think would move into the resulting power vacuum? And how would they go about it?
Dennis, you are up past your bedtime. Time to go nighty-night, and let the grown-ups worry about the important stuff.

Pay reparations to Iraqi families? Hmmm,...I think instead we should just pay Ohio to take Kucinich back and not let him out in public anymore to stop him from espousing such blather in the future.
Pity HE's not leading the Dem pack.
