Dan Lungren Sweeping Up Endorsements

Seems to me that Dan Lungren has the 3-rd district locked up. Check out the number of House Committee Chairmen who have endorsed Dan.
No more of this loser cheap representation in the Sacramento area. It will be nice to see a real Reagan Conservative representing the 3-rd district, currently held by Doug Ose, thankfully retiring.
Its my understanding that some hillbilly state senator is running, as well as the sister of Doug Ose...so basically, Dan has an easy ride through the primary.
Nice web site he has going too. Anybody know of his opponents web addresses?

Did you know that Rico Oller beat his wife and had a restraining order slapped on his criminal ass a few years back? Is this true or a lie?
Would you vote for a wife beater?

Everybody in Sacramento knows that Rico beat his wife, and the court documents have been flying around for a couple years now, as is an article from the Business Journal that speaks about the wife beating and also an FBI probe into Rico's previous campaign activity.
I may have to contact the Lungren campaign and see if they have this info.
Its hardly new news.
Says a lot about what you people think is a great conservative and candidate.

..Son, the 2nd Amendment protects all the rest. Read the Federalist papers and get yourself an education..
Been there and done that, dad. My intellect goes much farther then single topic discussion on firearms, what our founders intended, and how people like you intend to do away with the rule of law. Did you just get out of your high school poly sci 101 class? Boring.
Keep rambling away, as it provides me a lot of amusement and keeps the chuckles all day long. Monday morning political QB's.
You support a wife beater, simply because his stand on firearms, and you cant provide anything further then boring rhetoric on Dan Lungren. Too transparent for my taste.
Nice try kiddo.

1. Where's the proof. "Everyone know it" is BS spin that's even worse than your liberal friends at the LA Times. Was he charged? Convicted?
2. Lungren's voting record against freedom is long standing and stands on its own.

NRA WINNING Team ATTORNEY GENERAL LUNGREN'S POSITIONS ON GUN CONTROL ISSUES
Gun Control Activities
Dan Lungren was "F" rated by NRA while he was in Congress. In 1988, he voted for HR 5210 which would have established a national 7-day waiting period for handgun purchases. In 1991, he actively lobbied the National Association of Attorneys General to support the Brady Bill.
NRA opposed his appointment by California Governor Deukmejian as State Treasurer. He was not confirmed.
In 1991, when the NRA suit was in the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals challenging the Roberti-Roos Assault Weapons Control Act, Lungren's staff allowed HCI to share their time for oral arguments in support of the ban.
In June 1992, Lungren was a co-host for a Center to Prevent Handgun Violence fund raiser for Jim Brady.
Lungren "teamed up" with former Senator David Roberti to expand California's "Assault Weapons Control Act" (SB 263) and to restrict "high capacity magazines" (SB 1128). In a September 7, 1993 letter to Roberti concerning high capacity magazines, Lungren's Legislative Director wrote: "I hope you understand that the Attorney General remains committed to meaningful restrictions on large-capacity magazines. Our office would be pleased to support tightly-crafted legislation that will actually remove these magazines from circulation and use."
In the 1994 Attorney General race, Lungren was endorsed by Handgun Control, Inc. and rated "F" bv NRA.
In 1994, Lungren sponsored AB 635 (Allen) which put the federal 1000' "Gun Free School Zone" into state law. NRA opposed the bill.
Lungren and his staff have done nothing to help gun owners with the "right to carry" issue. On July 2, 1996 Lungren's staff testified against the NRA/CRPA sponsored "right to carry" bill (AB638/ Knight) and thus helped defeat it.
Lungren has aggressively worked to block the "right to carry" efforts oflsleton Police Chief Byrd, the recipient of the NRA Defender of Freedom award.
In January 1996, by administrative fiat, Lungren extended the waiting period for firearm purchases. He said that late submissions of paperwork by dealers was the problem. If mail delays were really the problem (which they weren't), Lungren could have sought criminal sanctions against the offending dealers instead of penalizing all firearm buyers.
In 1996 Lungren opposed the NRA sponsored "crime laboratory reporting bill" AB 635 (Bowler). Governor Wilson signed the bill.
In 1997 Lungren's office did not support either ACR 3 (Wright) the Eddie Eagle Gun Safety Resolution or SB 517 (Haynes) the shooting range protection bill. Both measures were sponsored by the NRA. SB 517 enjoyed tremendous law enforcement support and was signed by Governor Wilson.
In September 1997, after supporting the NRA for four years in a challenge to an Assault Weapons Control Act (AWCA) conviction, the Attorney General withdrew his support and reversed his position. This occurred immediately after articles critical of his AWCA policies were published in the L.A.Times.
In November 1997 the Attorney General decided that SKS Sporters were covered by the AWCA. For the previous five years his office had provided written approval for dealers to sell the "Sporter". In letters to owners, dealers and law enforcement Lungren directed that the rifles be surrendered to law enforcement. Registration is not possible and failure to comply could result in felony arrest. Lungren has no plans to ensure "due process" for the owners or provide reimbursement. This is the first time that government ordered firearm confiscation has occurred in California. The magnitude of the threat was described in a letter from Lungren's office to the California Supreme Court - "The impact of the courts' opinion cannot be over stated because of the millions of SKS rifles and after-market magazines currently in circulation. Tens of thousands of California citizens may become criminals simply by using a perfectly lawful rifle with a lawfully purchased magazine without adequate notice that such activity brings them within the proscriptions of the AWCA".

Still no answer to whether you support a wife beater because of his position on one issue.
Boring rhetoric.
Typical of the uneducated wannabe politicos that litter the internet. Stop sucking on the NRA's tit and think for yourself for once in your life. Stop cutting and pasting, step away from your mommy and daddys 'puter, and step outside to see the real world.
Then, answer to whether you support a wife beater over Dan Lungren. That will tell the tale of who you are and what you are about.

A google search isnt going to find the Oller wife beating court documents.
But dont worry....you will see.
You are defending and supporting a person who had a restraining order put on him after he beat his wife. Thats all i need to know about you.
This is going to be so much fun.

no answer to whether you support a wife beater because of his position on one issue. Because it's not proven that he's a wife beater. No proof. All I see is likely some second rate staffer here 'not connected'(formally) to the campaign trying to make his man look good, and the other one look bad...maybe Dan can get you a job or something. Typical of the uneducated wannabe politicos that litter the internet.
I'm a precinct delegate and have been elected and re-elected to my county's exec committee. I'm a former campaign and PAC treasurer, not to mention active in the grunt work, as well as the warrooms. I've done everything short of running for office. I've also worked in issue advocacy as well. I've been through the hell and back as well of 'corporate politics'. You're telling ME about the real world?
Stop sucking on the NRA's tit and think for yourself for once in your life.
The NRA is moderate. If the NRA thinks Lungren sucks, than by real pro-2a standards, he's even worse. And the facts still stand on his AG 'judicial type' activism.
And you still haven't shown me any proof. Did you ask Mr. Lungren's campaign manager for your next talking points.
Put up, or shut the hell up.

Yawn....
Is that the best you got? Precinct captain? LOL.
Move away from the PC kiddo, you are making me laugh too hard.
Dont you worry about the Rico wife beating "facts", when it comes out, which im sure it will, I will be sure to remind you of your pitiful attempt to defend a slimeball.
In the meantime...thanks for posting your resume. Having to validate your own existence on an internet message board is as pitiful as it gets.
Cheers!

Rico Oller passed legislation repealing SB60, the bill that would have given illegal immigrants driver's licenses. He did that in a democratically controlled state legislature.
Also, this guy with his "wife beating" schtick, if this is Lungren's "Master Plan", than apparently Lungren really hasn't lived in this district more than the required year. If he had, he would know that not only is it not true, but it is ineffective. But then again, I guess that best represents Dan Lungren, ineffective. Also, isn't this guy claiming that Lungren will stick to the issues? Is spreading falsities one of Lungren's issues? Or does it represent his moral character?

absolutely no contest between the two. Thanks for the ping. Lungren is a gun grabber of the worst kind. That no good scumbag deserves less than to be used for toilet paper. When running for guv, we contacted him about his stance of the cal AWB, he basically flipped us off. I will personally wear out my soles and vocal chords in seeing that low life get the big boot. I would not wish to see him elected dog catcher, for fear of defiling dogs everywhere.

Rico oller is very much pro gun, and he voted against the AWB, thinks it should be repealed, and has voted consistantly against further restrictions and "edicts" aimed at eroding the 2A

Wow, wish I would have seen this at the get go. Ogre has left the building, hopefully with a boot firmly planted in his ass.
I know Rico. I know his wife, and I am appalled that Some Lungren staffer would dare spread vicious rumors and innuendo as fact. Landa is a very intelligent woman, who loves her husband very, very much. However, she is far too intelligent to allow herself to stay in a violent or abusive situation. She would never expose her children to that kind of environment.
Aside from the 2a issues (where, Rico rocks)...AND SBXXX1 (overturning SB60), and the defense of small businesses against frivolous ADA lawsuits, and his stand supporting Prop. 187, and his integrity...I cannot imagine a single reason why someone would want to vote for him...
