My Granddaughter got baptized to day and it poured in NE Mass. The outfield was probably to soft to play, think monsoon wet.

Now the LoSox can completely skip pitching their worst pitcher (John Burkett) in this series and go with Wakefield in game 4 instead, if they so choose. They'd then have Lowe going in game 5 and Pedro in game 6 (if necessary). If the Sox can somehow push this thing to game 7, they'd probably start Burkett and empty out their pen at the first sign of trouble, using anybody and everybody (including Wakefield, Lowe, and even Pedro)....even for only a batter or two at a time.
But it doesn't matter -- all this does is prolong the Yankees' inevitable trip to the World Series.
