It's easy. You just put them in a plastic bag and throw them in the freezer. You forget about them until your husband reaches in there for some ice. Bawahahaha....
I would LOVE to see some pictures.

I'm still new to FR; but I feel comfortable enough to say it has never been this bad. Shortly after I signed onto FR, I joined in a loosely organized virtual freep with other freepers. In reference to doing this, I had signed up for the newsletters of quite a few leftist/commie orgs like Moveon. I still get these newsletters. They have been helpful with a 'heads up' to what those rats are up to. FR is being targetted.
I agree with you about the hard time of killing pretty bugs. I don't know how much time you have to do your project; but maybe you can order painted lady larvae?
http://www.insectlore.com Those butterflies only live 2 weeks. So you wouldn't have to kill them. Just keep them happy and healthy in a pavillion (I have a pavillion in the MIDDLE of my living room. What a conversation piece. Butterfly ecosystem in the house!).

I didn't think I had seen it this bad before, but was wondering if it was just me. Glad to know I'm not crazy. Those newsletters sound interesting. Hmmmmm.....
Amazing about your living room. How do you feed them? Fruit? In fact, I got an address to send off for a Painted Lady. And I can keep them in my house? Now I'm all excited. I'll check out your link.

Yeah, I understand. Matt is home for 3 days each week (Sat/Sun/Mon) and I am sooooooo glad when he goes back to work on Tuesdays. Just having him in the house messes up my routine.
That's one reason I'm so glad my son now has a full-time day job. It was driving me nuts having him in the house all day every day. I like having the house to myself (along with the critters). I need my quiet time. And then sometimes I like to turn up the music really loud and dance around the house while I clean. ;)
Come on up and we'll have some girl time. The boyz can go fish. hahahaha

You can get a pavillion at that site too. I feed them same as a humming bird, the water sugar mixture. I keep fresh flowers in season in a vase in the pavillion. I had heard fresh fruit...But I never saw them go on the fruit.
The butterflies lay up to 200 eggs. So you will have to release some here and there.

Jen's PortfolioTake a peek. The bugs are at the end. Be sure to see if you can figure out what the spider has in its web.
My hubby couldn't believe that I would capture bugs and use them as models! hahahaha
