Where is Cultural Jihad?

If anyone is wondering, and probably few are, Cultural Jihad has seemed to drop out as of September 10th. In her last comment, there is no indication whatsoever of her wanting to leave FR.
Although she and I have disagreed on points, I find it alarming that she would just drop off of the radar like that; it seems uncharacteristic.
I hope everything is OK and that she has simply decided to move on to other things, or that she has taken along vacation, but I am concerned, nonetheless. Does anyone know this long-term poster personally, or have any way of contacting her other than through this site?
Five years of dedicated posting and then totally dropping out without a clue deserves some attention, don't you think?

Yeah, so do I. Unless it's something incredibly blatant like Willowy Dame or Classy Green Eyed Blonde. Then I just think asexual.Yeah, it's safer that way. Of course, after I've had one of those baffling encounters with Buckeroo, then I'm thinking another planet or dimension or something. Speaking of which, I haven't seen Buckeroo for some time now.

Mmm...Remember Classy Green-Eyed Blonde, LOL.What is up with her/him?? That screen name posted fairly often, then one day, nothing. I was then on a thread where someone said she was banned because she was really a dude. When I pressed for details, none were forthcoming. I must be the only one here who doesnt know!

I was absent from the boards for two full months (went on a long hiking trip). Nobody missed me. Maybe I wasn't provocative enough. On a forum with over 100,000 members, though, I can see how one person might slip away unnoticed.
Still, there are days I envy the posters that have achieved renown, whether good or bad. The kind where, when my screen name is cited, people think "Oh, he's the guy who..."
Does anyone out there ever wonder how many people truly remember their contributions to FR? Maybe it's a low self-esteem on my part. I guess it's better to be unheralded than famous for some negative reason.

For a "where is" post, you should ping the poster...... Thanks.

I will sometimes take a hiatus from FR because it is so addictive and I must attend other matters. For instance, I did not log on at all from April until late July.
Not that anyone noticed and posted a vanity in search of me. ;0)

We all get to know posters by following certain topics. A few years back, I used to follow the WOD (War on Drugs)threads. Kevin Curry and CJ used to post on those threads constantly. They were excellent debates, most of which CJ and KC won, IMHO.
Most (52%?) of the other 100,000 posters I might recall by name, but not by their particular views.
Given an opportunity, I could probably ping about 200 posters by memory. A few years back, on a long train ride, I tried to write down as may names as I could remember. The total came to about 110. Many of those were names which have now been inactive for years.

Interesting - I feel like the answer to a trivia question.
I hope CJ's OK.

Well, I am a sexist and I never knew CJ was a woman.
It's usually relatively easy to determine thru writing style and of course monikers.
Of course we never know about imposters.

Interesting - I feel like the answer to a trivia question. I don't mean to trivialize anyone's postings on FR; it's just that I don't have the capacity to remember everyone's positions on events. ;)
I mostly recall those who get into major debates, especially those live to fight another day. That kind of stamina, wit and intelligence is admirable.

There are some marvelous posters on FR, aren't there. If Limbaugh holds title to the term "Institute for Advanced Conservative Studies," then reading FR certainly qualifies as postdoctoral work in that field.
