~The Dragon Flies Lair II~

My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guides we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and I...

And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

I am never the slow mover but the left lane limits your options on a median missile. Two vehicles traveling in oposite directions at 80 mph each have a closing speed of 160. There is no time to slow and clear to get back to the right. In the right lane I can leave the highway and go for a ride in the forest ; )

I have taken a lot of fear of heighters up. It is surprising to most. With proper instruction on where to look. How to use their eyes at low altitude. The sense of height is minimal. I fly at the lowest safe altitude. I teach the passenger to keep their eyes outside looking in the distance not straight down. It becomes more of a site seeing tour. I ask them to help me watch for other traffic. I let them take the controls for some turns, climb, descend and how to pick a point on the horizon to maintain a heading without staring at the compass. I have never had a paasenger that didn't want to go again. I think my passion for flying combined with my calming reassuring nature are part of it. I hate airlines though. I feel like I am in a cattle car. Piloting is a series of decisions and the last one I make on an airline is getting on. I need to see ahead not just off to one side. I haven't flown as much since I sold my plane. I will be renting planes more and I will get another of my own soon. From a small plane flying at 500 to 1000 ft above the terrain one can really enjoy the wonders of what the Lord has given us.

I am going to give her a whirl!!

I loaded the first one. For heaven sake, one would think I could have done it the second time. It was the linking of threads that threw mw off, html skills are not, too terrific.
