My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guides we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and I... And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight... Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair... bentfeather©

The stones that whispered..
The trees bent an ear
The wind told the stories
of when it all began
Written in the stars
in our DNA
on the high seas
unfolded the mystery
of yesterday...

Good night Flurry!! Rest well and thanks so much for being here.

Yes.
I love roses, and wish I had been able to bring my previous one with me when I moved from northern New Jersey all those years ago.
But then I wouldn't have the rose I have today.

Almost like a heart stirring memory on the mists of morninglight.

Little Pansy faces
in a basket reed
lift up little smiles
to their maker great
Tender little flower
summer's warm delight
little Pansy faces
on a balmy night...
To: bentfeather
Thanks.
I'm about to go to bed.
Probably more will come while I'm drifting off!

Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious
triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take
rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor
suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that
knows not victory nor defeat.
--Theodore Roosevelt, Twenty-sixth President

Beneath velvet darkness
dazzling ice
over opal grey
sparkling snow
Falling in a quiet sky
love is a soft wind...

To: bentfeather
Hey! He doesn't look like you. ;-)
