If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly! By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guides we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and I... And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight... Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair... bentfeather© | | | | |

Sorry to have not been around lately, but I'm now working 12 hour shifts from 8 PM to 8AM and I'm just wasted, sleeping like a log. will get some free time soon, and will get back to you all.
   Trike

Trike, we understand. There is no pressure ever for anyone to post. I know the hours are so hard for you and I pray you are well enough and not in pain to work those hours. Here is a link to our Dragon Flies Lair II. I love your work and will look forward to reading when you have the time and energy to write and post. Please take care of you Trike, my friend.

I never said I was trying to follow the
rules, I was just curious to find out if
there was something else I could try.
I found more rules... ];-)

2-3-3
3-5-3
5-7-7
7-5-5
8-4-5
5-9-3
5-8-4
5-12
12-5
8-9
9-8
7-10
10-7
Whether it's your thing or not, trying new
things isn't that bad. If it was, I wouldn't
be doing haiku right now.

    *sigh*
It helps to triple check.
"5-7-7" is meant as 5-7-5.
I even have the numbers written down...

ohhhhh, Darkchylde, I think it's wonderful for folks who enjoy doing it, it's just not my thing.

I have tried these other forms in times past, it's just too, restricting for me.

It takes me a while to think of a
way to write something so it fits.
But when I think of something, it
usually sounds good.

Hearing the soft rain
beating on my window pane,
I remember of you.
