I started writing this today as personal therapy I rebooted my office computer over and over and over.
I wanted to make it longer but I just can't write any more right now.

Teach and Vast,
I hope this will
redress my absence from class recently.

Very nice Lone........ if you don't mind, I'll add my son's poem to your thread...... he's 12:
The Knowledge Through The Memorial
by WhyisaTexasgirlinPA's Son
They came out of nowhere
It was too late
A single second would begin many Americans' fate.
They slipped under our nose,
How did they do it?
To think that this would happen
would make us think we made a mistake.
How could a human being possibly take in pleasure from this?
To sink so low, you have to go undercover
and find an alias.
And for what, to destroy the lives of the innocent?
America was breeched
The unthinkable happened,
But if there is one thing that I have learned,
it is that we must never forget that day,
but make sure that we keep the will to go on.
God Bless

I also write for therapy, but poetry and music are not really my strong points.
I scribbled a lot today - about the streets where we live and the streets where they lived.
God bless and keep them and may He bless those fighting to keep it from happening again and Please God, continue to Bless America.

Very good, Lone Palm.
We all need a catharsis for that awful day.
Mine is music. I've always taken solace in music, and this is no different.
Maybe it's to drown out the cries of my fellow Americans as they died............

Beautiful job.
