Dixie Chicks pick on Schwarzenegger |
The Dixie Chicks have been voicing their political opinions again by criticising Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Last time they were in Europe, lead singer Natalie Maines, said the band were ashamed President Bush was from Texas.
Emily Robison, currently touring Europe with the rest of the band, has now said: "He is a great film star. But I find his idea to run for governor absolutely insane."
She told German paper Abendzeitung: "America should be governed by people who have a clue. I hope he doesn't win."
Amazingly, some US radio stations stopped playing the band's music after the George Bush outburst.
Their European tour includes a two-night stand at the Royal Albert Hall in London on September 14 and 15.

This means two things.
1. Even the Dixie Chicks can be right every now and then.
2. Since they're picking on a liberal, they have no idea what they believe.....they're lost and clueless in a big media world.

I wager their indignation was nowhere in evidence back when Grandpa Walton ran for office.

So being "recording artists instead of a "film star" means they are more likely to have a "clue". Was it Natalie again or were they speaking in unison?

step back from the brink, there, friend.
How in the name of Sam Hill is this treason? You may also note that she did not trash any *elected* leader in this diatribe. Arnold has never been elected to anything.
There have been many, many freepers who have not been near this kind to Arnold. Are they all treasonous as well?

"He is running for Governor of California, not America. Ditzes." At this point, Arnold may just well be asking the Ditzes this question:
Who is yoh Daddy, and what does he do!?

The most likely reason they are against Arnold is that Bush is for him. At any rate, if the Dixie Chicks are against him, conservatives should take heart.
