Homework: Those of us who live in the woods, repine for the easy life of spring and summer since, in the month past, we don't have to rake those tens of millions of D**N pine needles and hardwood leaves every fall!

I know - but I wasn't referring to that - I was talking about your reference to pecans.

used to dig Monster Garage too.

What I'd like to see is a show that would help one build one's dream house - line up sponsors, get freebies, and use the new construction to showcase modern methods and materials.

Suppliers could donate products in return for promotional consideration, contractors donate time in exchange for exposure...

LOL!!!!

I'm not really looking forward to the fall this year - the northern boundary (and the longest) of my property is pine and hardwood!!!!

Did y'all see the one where the teams had to build a cart that would scoop up golf balls at a driving range and then feed them into a cannon to shoot them back at the golfers. It was really funny.

It was just a reference that though you are wrong about pecans, you are right about this.

Last time Simba was out, he went through the doggie door and brought us back a live bird. He's never been gone this long since I've been here. Cyber said he used to wander before. I've been calling him and walking the neighborhood since yesterday.

I'm so weird. I covered three quarters of the slider, which is opened about five inches, with plastic wrap to keep the cool in, and then Simba can just walk in when he feels like it.

Even the dogs are upset. They miss their kitty.

Laz, hobbes was mean to me this morning.

Laz is mean to everybody. If he's not mean to you, then either he doesn't like you or he is pissed off at you, or he doesn't even care that you exist. So, if he was mean to you then you should be happy that he acknowledges your existence and apparently approves.

Oh, wait; you were telling Laz that hobbes was mean to you. That's different. If hobbes was mean to you then that probably just means he didn't get any last night.

Thanks. He's part of the family here.

I kept waking up last night thinking he was jumping up on the bed, only to find it was Cyber's toes moving.
