Sorry I didn't ping you. Being the carb pro that you are...coach. :-)I thought you would have had these already.

I saw some low carb ketchup somewhere. I don't use it often so it has slipped my mind.

The Akins cook book (which I bought a couple of days ago) sys that many health food stores carry a low-carb (sugar free) ketchup.

Mrs. Mulliner just said that she doesn't think we could make any lower carb peanut butter than what we buy. We have been buying PB with no sugar added for quite a while now so I guess the only carbs come from actual peanuts....and hard to make peanut butter without them.

When I was on Atkins, not just the maintenance phase, we were in Singapore and there weren't many low-carb foods available. I was very pleasantly surprised by some low-carb items when we came back here last summer. But by that time I was into the maintenance phase and didn't pay all that much attention to those items.

I may go back on the induction phase soon. Since quitting the night job where I walked about 8-10 miles every night, I am lacking in exercise and feel myself getting soft. I can't seem to stay on a good maintenance phase diet for more than a couple of days now because we have too many things around here that aren't geared for me and with Mrs. Mulliner working full time now, I'm fending for myself more.
