We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Remember the Trade Center!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
North Korea, in the six-way talks to discuss the dismantling of its nuclear weapons program, announced it has a nuclear weapon and will test it. [Ed. Note: The United States should announce in return that it has a nuclear weapon and intends to "test" it.]
In the left's continuing attempt to disarm Israel, the International Atomic Energy Agency announced it will look into "Israeli Nuclear Capabilities and Threats".
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Tiny child believe death is a result of 'being run over', Only country children. Which is why I gave up so much to have my kids raised out in the country. They get to see unvarnished reality, and develop a reality mind-set.
Prayers for your family, and for rain continue.
I'm going to call it a night soon.
God bless us all. Each, and every one.

Only country children. I hadn't thought of it in that perspective. You could be right.
I know my kids, growing up on a livestock farm, seemed to understand the eb and flow of life and death at an early age.
I found an Atkins book this afternoon at the Grocery Store and I started reading it tonight after the children were in bed. I need to get started, but needed some background and a Pep Talk. I am dreading giving up sweets.

Good night Johnny..............I hope the worn-downness goes way soon............

Speaking of livestock.............
I was driving home from Walmart this afternoon and happened to pass by this accident.
It was pretty disgusting......
To: MozartLover
Sounds like the contents of several Rendering Trucks.
It couldn't have been pleasant.
I'm really going to bed now.
Rest Well, dear friends.

Hi! I just popped up a little while ago. It was a good dive day. But I didn't see any dolphins. I also wasn't attacked by a shark wahnaby either.

Hope you're ducking, Jim.
Neets said she'd serve breakfast as soon as she arrives in PA.
Bet you had a good trip, Nita. Not much traffic?

Pep talk: I was worried about giving up sweets, too, when I started Atkins, but I have to tell you that after a week, I didn't crave sweets. I'm amazed! I used to have candy or some other sweets every day. Even after a couple mistakes, I've done fine. It does help to read all of the book first. I got started before reading it all, and hence, the mistakes. However, for me to just get started was THE BIGGEST obstacle. I'm most proud of myself for that. Go for it, sweetie.......It's easier than you think.

Hi kassie!
There's nothing special goin' on here this weekend. We're doing some babysitting for grandchildren, having dinner with friends, and then the kids and babies are coming for a swim and cookout on Monday.
Are you lonely with hubby in KC?

I agree. After about a week, the craving seems to be broken. I discovered an added benefit today. Because I've reduced my mass, I was able to also reduce the weights needed to help me sink from twelve to ten pounds. In other words I have lost 17% of the weight I had in mid-July.

I am ready to leave this pretty area of VA and head back to the smog and heat of Houston, just so we can all be together. Of course that doesn't mean the first day we're there, the company won't send him to CA for a week or NM for 3 or 4 days. Just part of the job...
Your plans sound wonderful. My husband told me he'd spoil all the grandkids for me. That is something I'd rather do myself!

I crave sweets. They are my down fall. What do you do to curtail the craving? I have very little will power, if that is what it takes, I could never make it.

When you crave sweets, eat something allowed, like steak or a big juicy hamburger. Don't hesitate to put butter on it or a sauce (check for added sugar, though). I found that when I was hungry for what I thought was sweets, if I went ahead and ate meat, it took away that craving.

NOBODY craved sweets more than me! If you just stick to the induction part of Atkins, it goes away. It's a miracle! Jem is right......Go for the meat or cheese, and sweet cravings disappear.
