                  | My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky
 I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guides
we would dip and we would glide
 through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
 my Dragon Fly and I...

And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

She's under the impression her poetry isn't very good.
I guided her to the compliments, to which she replied
on AOL IM "woo hoo!". I also have another poem by her.

quiet faces, all too innocent
for when they awaken what will this time be
a thing in the past
no more silence as the faint breathing turns into an out loud cry
oh the days when i was young
when nap was all i ever needed to settle into my peaceful zone
some cried for mommy some wanted to play
not me i note i wanted to escape the day
they grow up so fast
from young to old where time goes past though seemingly slow
days of playing and running free become days of torment and undoubtedly
a time of when all else matters what happened to the days when there were no cares, no feelings of shame, guilt, or despair

    Angst!
It's difficult to trust agains after getting 'sagged' by someone.
Somewhat of a song, no tune, again, it's in my head and I can't write music.

Alive
Stuck inside my head
things I never said
come back to haunt me
You
Said you wanted me
but now it's plain to see
it's all for nothing
I float above it all
knowing that I'll fall
and there'll be taunting
(Run away run away)
Run away from the nothing I've become
(Run away run away)
Find the answers to where this is really from
(Run away run away)
I need to feel warmth instead of feeling numb
(Run away run away)
All we want is to be loved
(Run away run away)
I'll find myself someday
We
circle what we see
fear of you and me
but here it's ending

when we didn't have a care in the world
 how free we felt
how wonderful it was to be alive

 no fear
 no concept of death

 then we grew up
 innocence lost

 fears creep in
 death rears its ugly head

 fun becomes moments of laughter
 quick to end
 reality returns

i'm convinced we are closer to God as children
then as life creeps in and years go by
we move further away from Him

Only to return as we near death
seeing that it was all so short
wanting that feeling of freedom to return

Its now my 'morning', I go to work at 8 PM, and do another 12 hour 'day'.

Forgetting to have written something for the ladies, I leave this small offering to women, written some time ago.

Mistress of the Heart

She walks beside sun drappled waters,
her hair tossed by dancing breezes,
each lock caressing her with gentle touch.

She moves with dancers grace,
flowing through each moment,
in the ballet of life, her masterpiece.

She captivates, titillates, and subjugates,
and I the willing, oh so willing slave,
to her soft domination of my will.

She is all women, any woman,
the sum of her parts and needs,
love personified in the physical.

She is, and I am swept away in her,
the magic that is her, in the world of me,
an overpowering and perfect love.

I hear music in my head, when I'm awake, and sometimes when I sleep.
It gets annoying, and sometimes I have to get up in the middle of the night and write it down or it leaves my head like a shadowy dove on satin soft wings.

I hear words of poetry and rhyme in my head, I suppose that could be called songs. Yes, poetry is singing!
