I was really amazed after I read how Botox works that anyone would have that put on their face. Of course I don't understand why anyone would have a doctor peel their face off their skull, trim it, laser it, then sew it back on just to look a few years younger, either. One of my friends was going to have a face lift, but when she saw one being done on a show on the Discovery channel, she changed her mind and bought a new moisture treatment cream instead.

I just got this in an email - I thought it was great!!!
Subject: a billion is a big number
The next time you hear a politician use the words "billion" casually, think about whether you want that politician spending your tax money. A billion is a difficult number to comprehend, but one advertising agency did a good job of putting that figure into perspective in one of its releases:
A billion seconds ago it was 1959.
A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive.
A billion hours ago our ancestors were living in the Stone Age.
A billion dollars ago was only 8 hours and 20 minutes, at the rate Washington spends it.

Cracks me up that the alarmist whackos who will complain about the terrors of so many innocent products aren't up in arms about botox, given the way it works.

Texan, correct me (that's not a job you want full-time, trust me) on this, but isn't it a rat poison variant that works by killing off nerves.
God, I am talking out my arse even more than usual on this one...
