In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. Practice makes perfect.....post on....

Dixie, if you get the Bravo channel, there is a funny movie on right now - Waiting For Guffman, a spoof about community theater.
To: secret garden
Shoot, just came on to check FR and found this. Maybe it will be on later this weekend again.
Good grief, the Senator from Ga., Chambliss I think sounds like, well almost like Hollings.

Lol, that also reminds me of a email that I got the other day - It started out - "Do you remember me. I know we had several classes together. I was a tall red-haired girl. Plus, I was your make-up gal from the school play..."
lol.

It was a fun thread. I caught him early, others finally saw it. We batted him around like a good little hockey puck. Then the moderator evidently slammed a goal on his trollbutt. It must have just been a short suspend cuz he's back now. Check out KurtChicago profile and his posts from yesterday. He is a real life troll and I'd ban him if it was up to me.

F&F is having their 1500th show party this morning with Richard Simmons and Mancow. I didn't think there was a camera that could contain both of them at the same time!
To: secret garden

How was dinner?

it was really fun. she is very outgoing and the 4 of us had a great time. xsteen thought she was really cool. xsbrownie worried that a sports bar was not going to be NICE enough to take her to, but turns out there is another branch of this one out near where her parents live and they go all the time. it is not tacky or seedy, they just have a lot of tvs turned to sporting events.
we will see her again today at school, bc xsboy's class list is going to be posted and we will find out which teacher he has, etc.

F&F is too fluffy for me. I call "short skirt legs tightly crossed journalism". There is also "Wet Poutty Lips Journalism".

I sent the following frepmail to my pet troll this morning.
I was serious when I asked you how you think WWII should have been ended. Before I say a thing is the wrong way that I have suggestion on a right way. What is your right way? If you don't respond I'll assume that you are just a complainer with no vision.

BTW, we need a slogan for calling in our troops, a motto of some type to rally us to action. How about "Time for Dodge Ball Practice"
To: VRWCmember
How about "Sticks and Stones". Being the catch phrase.
