mrs T's pierogies from the frozen food section of your grocer's freezer, boiled in water til thawed. brown onions in butter, pour over and serve with sour cream. i have never made the pierogies from scratch, they are a LOT of work. my dad could eat 3 dozen at a sitting and my mom busted her butt making them!

Most of the fires have been west and southeast of me. The big one over in the west was threatening to close I-90 outside Missoula yesterday evening.

Now there is something I really like! Stuffed cabbage, yum. I have a friend who makes it for her family at least once every two weeks. She is Polish.

I am just grateful the word "Episcopal" doesn't appear in this article.

i live in an area populated by NEW ethnics, not old ethnics like eastern europeans. i would have to look in the pittsburgh area or have my SIL check over by Y'town, or maybe dubs would know, but i doubt it. they do not stock this kind of stuff down here in the DC area.

Very good article.

And the shame of it is that much of what she says is true.

But the tide does seem to be turning. Even non-smokers are starting to realize that the anti-smoker industry tells more lies than Big Tobacco ever did.

That was the story that brought up your name last night.

Glas to know you're not in the line of fire, so to speak.

I'm going nuts with no ethnic foods other than Mexican around here. Don't get me wrong, I love mexican food - but I also love oriental and middle eastern. I have to rely on hubby when he is working in Delaware or at least Salisbury to get anything else for me.

I've known a number of women who had very successful operations to reduce the size of the bosom. This would be especially advantageous for the time when age sets in. I'm sure everyone has heard the joke about the old woman who went to see Dr. Kevorkian about the best way to commit suicide. He told her to get a pistol, hold it three inches below her left breast and pull the trigger. So she went home and blew her kneecap off.

Check it out: this troll who asked, "Will Jim Robinson be banned is so lame that the mods are apathetic about banning him. So, at least the Viking Kitties have something to play with this morning.

I had a carb solutions lemon cheesecake one this morning for the first time. Not as good as the blueberry, or any of the chocolate ones. I like their fudge brownie bar, too.
