In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of “word for the day”. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the “word of the day”; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. Practice makes perfect.....post on....

apathetic, apathetical; adjective
apathetically; adverb

1. Lack of interest or concern, especially regarding matters of general importance or appeal; indifference.
2. Lack of emotion or feeling; impassiveness.
3. Feeling or showing a lack of interest or concern; indifferent.
4. Feeling or showing little or no emotion; unresponsive.

According to the Stoics, apathy meant the extinction of the passions by the ascendency of reason.

Etymology: [Latin apath a, from Greek apatheia, from apath s, without feeling : a-, without; see a-1 + pathos, feeling; see kwent(h)- in Indo-European Roots.]

Gabz, I've gotten lost all my life. I have absolutely no, none, zip for a sense of homing devices in the brain.

Of course, I no longer panic about it. It's normal for me.

I would definately have to park my 4x4 Blazer and drive my two seater, or hubby's to work. In fact, we'd best carpool, if that crap ever happens here.

I only wear a bra if I'm wearing white or other pale/transparent fabric, and that's only if I'm not wearing a jacket.

Mrs T's? i am going to make my SIL take me to the pierogie shack up in Warren the next time we are visiting. i need something authentic. my dad used to bring me authentic kielbasa. this place is right near my FIL's. i will have to try them. xskids DO love a fatty meat, and are big kielbasa fans.
