Most definitely. Virginal too. Byrd wrote some fantastic music for the latter.

Hey, I wanted to say bye to you guys for the week before my net connection goes dead again. :) Kids and I are off to the in-laws farm to visit. We are leaving in an hour probably. My net connection has been dead since last night. :( Even now it's come and go. No idea what's going on with it.

Have a great time with the kiddos on the farm in the fresh air, and try to get some R&R yourself!

I'd say the lute is slightly more complicated than classical guitar. The shape makes it really hard to hold, and the strings are in sets of two. No one reads pitch notation either; everyone uses lute tablature, which comes in a variety of flavors. It takes some getting used to, but once you've got it down it's really a much better system for the lute.

I'll open a class but the grading will have to be by committee or on the honor system. I won't be able to monitor and grade homework submissions.
To: VRWCmember
sweetums i said i would grade. though, after your shameless throwing of yourself at ms bella yesterday i don't know why i should even be speaking to you...; )

My dentist should love me. By the time I get up the nerve to have all my dental work done, she should be able to afford a new beach house.
