Why wait till 6 pm? Mike Trivisono of WTAM has sources who say it's career back up Kelly Holcomb. The source is probably Carment Policy itself.

Holcomb looked pretty good in the game I saw the other day. One of the Canadian sports channels is reporting that the team has selected Holcomb to be the QB on opening day.

Holcomb looked pretty good in the game I saw the other day. The Green Bay game? Did you see him in the playoff game vs. the Steelers 420+ yards.
One of the Canadian sports channels is reporting that the team has selected Holcomb to be the QB on opening day.
Browns coach Butch Davis announced at 6 PM EST that Kelly Holcomb will be the opening day starter.

Yes, Green Bay. Very impressive against the Steelers, too bad the bad guys won.

An aside: the CFL regular season is half over already! Montreal looks like the best team by far, so far, despite having released both Lawrence Phillips and Mike Pringle during the off-season.

I was just sick to see Vick's injury, he's such an exciting player. Phooey!! That's a damn shame. On a lighter note this could be NFL QB Survivor...

He actually put up decent numbers last year in Cincinatti, if I remember right. Of course Cincy was the worst team in the league record-wise.
