Why is Fox News so dark? (vanity)

Fox News coming through my Direct TV has a really dark tint to it. I guess it could be fromt he blackout but PMSNBC and CNN look fine.

Maybe it has something to do with the blackout?

If they have no air conditioning, perhaps they switched to dimmer lights in the studio.

Probably aren't up and running 100% in their main studios. Possibly some workers are not in today.

Its not just the studio lights the graphics and logos are in a dark shade

It's fine on Time-Warner Cable in Hawaii.

I have DirecTV too, and have been wondering the same thing. My reception went out briefly because of a local thunderstorm, but the picture was still out of focus when it came back on.
