In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. Practice makes perfect.....post on....

pandemianly; adverb
pandemiousness; noun
1. Vulgar
2. Sensual
The characteristics of Aphrodite have bewildered philosophers who, like Plato, made a distinction between the two aspects of the goddess, one Uranian "celestial," as the goddess of pure love, and Pandemian, or "popular," as the goddess presiding over ordinary love affairs.

Try going to
http://bressler.org/ and select it from the list of items right under the picture of the little dog peeing on the computer keyboard. The file is listed as "Beer Bitch".

back from shopping and lunch with the daughters, will have to retrieve xsboy in a few minutes from golf. we had lunch at Rio Grande cafe. the BEST tortilla chips, EVER. bar none. i had shrimp quesadillas, and they were excellent. xshub doesn't eat Mexican, so we take advantage of his absence to race out to all of the restaurants we can't go to with him. we will eat Italian for dinner. : )

By the way, on any of the files at
http://bressler.org/ if you see the acronym NSFW by the file name, that warning stands for Not Suitable for Work, so be warned prior to opening any files so designated.

the baby wakes up so often during the night that I wouldn't get any sleep if she didn't sleep with us. With her in the bed, I just roll over and let her eat while I go back to sleep. We have a king sized bed so we aren't scrunched together any. When the toddler was a baby we had a queen sized bed and it was very scrunched, but it still worked well. The crawler does take her naps in the crib and sleeps in the crib until about 1 or 2am.

I was thinkin' the "cover the tank bit" there, but no way?
What size (rectangle I'd imagine) fishin' hole are you talkin' about needing to cover?

The toddler was really easy to break of it. He slept with us entirely until he was a year old. Then we moved him to a playpen with a foam mattress (crib mattresses are too hard and uncomfy) next to our bed for a couple months. When we got our king size bed we put our queen size mattress on the floor in the other bedroom and he's slept there ever since by himself.
We waited until he was a year old because that's how long it took for him to sleep completely through the night without wanting to eat. He was on a bottle at 9 1/2mths and took 2-3 bottles during the night until a year old. The crawler is 9 1/2mths now and still eats a few times during the night, which is why she's still in our bed.

LOL this is the second time I've had to retake the test for letting my license expire. Last time was in AL. I have never gotten but one ticket in my life though. It was for expire tag (but it was my mom's fault b/c I had NO clue about tag registration stuff and the sticker was in her purse.)

I've learned this week that there is really no need to go anywhere before hubby gets home to drive me there. Then he has to help with the kids too!

It's a standard 10g tank. I have a 30g one too but he can't reach the top of it yet. It has a full cover that attempts to be kidsafe but I've had to tape that part down since he learned to open it. Now he goes in via the filter opening.
