Hey, how about a more ethnically diverse Dukes clan with Halle Berry playing the comely cousin.

Yeah well my brother is 19 (almost 20) and I'm 25 and we still argue. Hubby can't stand to be around both of us at once.

It honestly sounds like your daughter is better off without the family members that choose not to be there.

I'm unfamiliar with that situation. Is that good or bad?

I think the decision not to hop up and fetch something for the kids (or husband) after you have just served them and sat down is universal to moms. We have to eat, too.

I agree with the Alabama chapter. The tax plan has been proposed by our RINO guv, and is a joke! Seems to me if the state chapter, which will be directly impacted by the plan opposes it, the national org should follow suit.

Well, as long a Laura Earl has no complaints then I guess we should accept it...

LOL, I saw that bit of fluff. The more he places the race card instead of standing on the merits, the more we're going to keep him as comic relief.

It was a very large, strange company, with lots of totally weird people working there. I had been there nearly seven years when it went under in the late 80's real estate and construction crash here in Texas. I hated loosing that job-it was the most money I ever made for the least work. You should have seen the company parties-they were like the decadence of the late Roman empire. And the perks were fantastic-your birthday off every year, if you were having a bad day emotionally, you just said so and took the rest of the day off with pay, your choice of a Suburban or full size Chevy pick up company truck to drive, free, catered lunch on Fridays, and many others. For perks like that, I hardly noticed how strange many of my co-workers were.
