"well dang, honey, xsbrownie is 9 and xsboy almost 12 and they would put each others eyes out and pull every strand of hair outta their heads if i didn't knock their skulls together a la three stooges! "

We were that way too when we were younger. We would beat the crap out of each other a lot. I would ALWAYS be the one that got in trouble for it too. Then he got bigger than me and still beat the crap out of me. Now we don't actually hit and punch anymore, but we still have a nasty argument once in a while.

When Jax was informed the puppy would be taken back to where we got her, she started screaming about how we couldn't throw the puppy in the trash, if we did that we were bad people.

She has had a few toys disappear for a time because of refusal to pick them up and put them away - she thought they had been thrown in the trash.

At least one group knows how the game SHOULD be played.

Daschle manor

The Club for Growth, a tax-cuts advocacy group, began running a TV ad yesterday against Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle, blasting the South Dakota Democrat for buying a $2 million home on Foxhall Road while opposing President Bush's tax-cut package.

The Club, which made its name backing conservatives in primaries against liberal Republicans, has put Mr. Daschle at the top of its 2004 target list. This new spot is timed to coincide with Mr. Daschle's annual "drive" across South Dakota.

But the Club hopes Mr. Daschle's constituents wonder how he is able to afford a new home in Washington while trying to block a tax cut for them.

"Maybe they don't want tax relief on Foxhall Road," an announcer says before the screen flashes to Aberdeen, S.D., resident Wayne Greenfield, who says, "But we sure can use it here in Aberdeen."

The ad shows a road sign for Aberdeen, which says "Home of U.S. Senator Tom Daschle," then flashes to a shot of Mr. Daschle's new manor on Foxhall Road, billed as a "great place to entertain Hollywood liberals, politicians and lobbyists." The ads are being run in Sioux Falls, S.D., and on South Dakota cable networks. Dan Pfeiffer, a spokesman for Mr. Daschle, predicted the ads will have little effect. "To the extent that South Dakotans are familiar with the Club for Growth, they know them as an out-of-state group that does nothing more than run very harsh negative attack ads," said Mr. Pfeiffer.

I can barely walk in heels, muchless run in them. I wore hooker-high heels in that wedding I was in a while back and was worried to death I'd break my neck going down the stairs in the church foyer.

I see you sisters are all alike. You didn't deserve your loving adorable sweet brothers, as all we brothers are.

I don't remember that far back - just that my brother and I didn't get along as kids and it never changed - even though for years I defended him in the neighborhood and against some of the teachers in school. he's 2 years younger than me.

I had a variation of that one where I would move in front of the screen so he couldn't see till he got pissed and either hit or pushed me. Then I'd yell for mom, and she'd yell at him-usually from the kitchen, since it was most effective to do that while she was occupied cooking dinner.

we do the tv deprivation for xsbrownie when she acts up too. i love it actually bc it means that foxnews can be on all the time! it is tough, i know, but xsbrownie is 4 years older than Jax and she still has her moments with being disobedient and occaisonal fit throwing.

I never beat up on my brother - did beat up on kids in the hood beating up on him, tho.

So much for brotherly love, he put a knife to my throat once because he didn't like what I was cooking for dinner. another time he tried to put my head through the kitchen window (closed at the time) that had iron bars on the outside because I tossed all his crap in the middle of the living room because I was tired of picking up after him - those 2 incidents (and others similar) occurred after we were both in college. Not exactly little kids.

Even my brother would not make an outrageous claim like that.

On one side of my family, I was the first and only grandchild until he came along. Fortunately, I was able to remain the darling of the family after his newness wore off.

you know i can laugh about this stuff when it was ME doing it, but i blew a gasket last week when xsboy was at hockey practice and i overheard xsbrownie throwing an unbelievable fit upstairs when she was all alone. turns out that her brother had blocked all of her fave channels on the tv remote. i was FURIOUS bc i have no idea how to block or unblock stuff on there!

I tried that a few times but i would still be the one to get in trouble somehow. Usually he would just fall to the floor and scream saying I hit him too hard. He was the baby of the house so he always got his way. (still does in fact!)

RINO is right. From The Corner at NRO:

Michael Graham writes:

He supports legalized abortion right up to the partial-birth point. He supports government recognition of homosexual marriage as well as homosexual adoptions. He is not a supporter of the Second Amendment, just pushed a massive government expansion, and he thinks the impeachment of [Bill Clinton] was a Republican "disgrace."

Who is the liberal ideologue?

It's "moderate Republican" Arnold Schwarzenegger.

"and there was the related article on how penis size is not related to feet. guess we can all breathe easier now. huh?"

Everyone knows it's related to hand size, not feet size.
